  • @KingBarney

Grey-man I don't really get you, there are proper complex algorithms that you almost definitely never figure out intuitively for F2L, most F2L stuff is little tricks and being clever, but there are complex algorithms for cases that would take much longer doing intuitively.

I see hes making use of his fingers awkwardly in order to avoid regrips. For example doing a U with the left index. Feels awkward but once you got it down it should be a killer time saver! Currently reinventing my F2L, hope it makes me faster in the long run. Always good to see a pro doing what I'm starting to learn so I know its gonna pay off. Starting to do One-Handed solving aswell, which definitely helps making use of the fingers you have.

So. Imagine you have a pair, and you can insert it by going U R U' R'. A sledge hammer is going R' F R F' instead. Each Trigger (U R U' R' or R' F R F') is useful for different things, like if you're on your last pair, and you have zero edges facing up for OLL, you can do a sledgehammer instead of a standard insert (U R U' R'), and you'll have oriented 2 OLL edges, making OLL easier.

Ikr, I've seen some example solves where the whole F2L is made in 6-7 seconds, and OLL+PLL takes only 2 seconds But I want to be able first to do the F2L from fridrich, and the last layer from beginner method

Also, you don't necessarily need to know all PLL and OLL because-especially for OLL- there are a lot of cases where you can just use two easy algorithms.

Example solves are for experienced or intermediate cubers that are trying to break bad habits. Use an actual tutorial because Feliks's solves are too fast to be used as a tutorial. I personally prefer this website:www.rubiksplace.com/speedcubing/guide/ EDIT: If you're asking what his solving style is maybe try slowing down the playback speed.
