Today we will be pimping out the Rubies Wonder Woman Shield! Not a lot of work required but it makes all the difference :) Enjoy!

I have that exact shield from Rubies. Great piece for cheap. I actually repainted it after some plastidip so the paint job looks more antique. The Plastidip also made it less flimsy, but I like the idea of fiberglass on the inside. I'll probably also copy your leather straps. Good job as always!

The fiber glass mats are easier to work with with a little spray on glue. Spray the area where you apply the mats lightly, then the matting sticks. Let it dry a few minutes. This way you get no loose fibers flying around. Then apply the resin. Makes working with the nightmare stuff a lot easier...

In case anyone needs it, you can do something like four layers of the fiberglass and resin, it'll stop bullets up to 5.56
