I trimmed down my 4 to force. The look on people's faces is awesome. I've been doing this one for awhile. To tell the truth I put the deck in my box and forgot it until now! Cheers my friend! Sent you several emails.

Niiiiiice. I keep a 7 of spades card in my mobile phone case, with the bottom 2 pips cut off. I force the 5 of spades. Tell the speccy I predicted this. Show the top half of the 7s card. They say no. Show rest of card with only 5 spade pips on. Great reactions.

Hello Gaffer, great trick as always!! Card mat tutorials did a trick a while back where he removed pips and he did it with a regular pencil eraser it works well and you don’t have to be as careful in fact you have to work a little bit at it so it’s hard to harm any other pips than the one you would like to remove, it does have the same effect on the card it makes a matte finish look where you removed the pip. Love your channel you were the first magician I ever started watching on KZread then you went away for a bit. I kept looking for you until you came back thank you for the triumphant return!!

Great tutorial, Pete! As another hint- in the US there's a product called 'Mr Clean's Magic Eraser' that works wonders in removing pips.

I love the creation of this gimmick, Gaffer. Very simple, but still need to take care! And the trick is really cool, too! It'd be a good opener to get some attention to you!

Great effect!! I may do this by cutting out a heart shape pip from another4 of hearts, have it secretly hidden between my thumb and fingers as i ""pull"", pip off of card then i give out the cut out pip to spectator they will then examine the card and see that remaining pips are still printed on!! One great trick. I wish i was able to be able to so many cuts because at times at find it difficult to hold onto card and shuffles and cuts.

Some time ago I saw a video of Spidey where he teaches how to remove the ink with Axe spray deodorant. I never found one that works, lol. The acetone works but it will ruin the card very quickly if you're not careful. 🍺
