Outstanding! It's breathtaking to wait for the theme to come in. It comes in only around 3:12. Last time I saw Ignacio was in the 80s. We're all much older and he got even better. You can tell there's a timbalero Inside the jazz drummer. Wow. Blew my socks off.

Wonderful performance...the definitive version of Caravan for all time. Carlos Henriquez on Bass and Ignacio Berroa on Drums - very similar to their performance at the 2000 Festival International de Jazz de Montreal. Rubalcaba's joyful creativity with these pieces is incredible and I love the interactions between the trio.

Martin, the name of this son is Caravan. Writers are Duke Ellington, Juan Tizol and Irving Mills. I am not sure if there is an Album. While in youtube go to search and type in caravan. Look for Duke Ellington. Greetings from Arroyo Grande, California, USA. We are all in lock-down due to the Covit-19, have been for almost three months. Don't know where you are, but stay save:-)))

Ambos son maestros. Me inclino por Berroa. La construcción de sus solos es muy original, es como cubista, fragmentaria. Sube, baja, se abre aque los ritmos lo permeen. Y sobre todo, se monta encima del tempo y lo oculta, lo viste por completo. Aquí vemos como de repente se monta en el high hat y el platillo en pleno climax y uno se sorprende. Cuestion de gustos, claro. La diferencia es que Barreto va encima del tren y lo hace más firme. Berroa agarra el tren y se lo lleva para su casa.
