Today brings some fresh leaks for RTX 50 Blackwell, specifically the flagship RTX 5090 GPU, as we have some hardware specs which have leaked. And, we also have an update on Nvidia's plans for the RTX 50 series' release date.
Join us as we examine the latest RTX 50 specifications leak, focusing on the fresh leaks on the RTX 5090 specs - specifically the clock speed leak which is ABSURD. Anticipation is high for RTX 50 Blackwell, which by accounts in the recent rumours and reports is a bit of a MONSTER in gaming and ray tracing performance - but what does these leaked specifications tell us?
We also discuss the launch date plans for the RTX 50 series, which is something that's been a bit all over the place in recent leaks.

AMD won't release a card faster than the 7900XTX. So 5080 & 5090 are without competition. The 5070 will probably lack VRAM again and will be beaten by AMD's new line of cards regarding price to performance, I doubt that NVIDIA cares about AMD's cards that much to change the system they've built the last 2 years. They always had way better features than AMD anyway, so they'll just market the shit out of the 192 bit bus 5070 with DLSS4 which will reduce vram usage by 49492929% according to their 100% legitimate statistics. My guess is a chopped down 5090 doing >30% more performance than 4090 for $1899 MSRP, 5090 Ti >50% more performance than 4090 for $2499 and 5080 with on par performance to 4090 (maybe a little faster in gaming with DLSS 4 or something) for $1399. The cards are easily worth more than this, considering that 4090 is still going for $1700+. Nividia can do it however they want to. Thumbs up for great videos!

@redgamingtech Guys, I'm about to build a new PC. Still running a 6700K. It will be a R7 7800X3D with a RTX4080 or RTX4090. Now my question is, is it worth it waiting for the new AMD CPUs and RTX 5080/90 or should I just build a PC now and be done with it. My CPU is dying and I can't play CPU heavier games anymore, Games like BG3 barely load. Hope you guys can help.

Nvidia is making money hand over fist doing AI stuff. What they're doing "for gaming" is throwing people who are desperate to see that they still give a damn about the market a bone. Furthermore, I would expect buyers, based on how well the 40 series did, to continue to sit on their wallets. Even their "Super" cards aren't worth the prices they listed them at.

I don't believe the 5090 will have some big clock jump. Sorry. After so many other rumors have been wrong over the last 2 - 3 years I'm not buying it. It's too big of a die to clock as fast as humanly possible. Physics is still physics. You clock die faster, it increases the reactance of the circuit and that means more power consumption and I don't think Nvidia is going to want to increase power consumption much if any over the 4090. There isn't enough info known about TSMC 2nd gen N3 other than it's better than 1st gen, they get better defect rates with it, it's easier for them to make, it SHOULD allow for them to clock the die faster, not a lot and maybe because of better production quality, reactance isn't as bad at higher clock speeds, but that still doesn't change the fact that the higher you clock die, the more reactance increases. So, coming off of TSMC N4 customized for Nvidia which means TSMC already worked with it improving clock performance and moving to 2nd gen N3 which is a new process, I think what's likely to happen is they increase clocks a little and this allows Nvidia to get good performance without boosting power consumption very much. But considering that a 5090 has to add transistors for raster performance, RT performance AND AI performance so it can process DLSS faster, that's a WHOLE LOT of added transistors to be clocking a lot faster. I DO believe that at the lower - mid tier that Nvidia can clock those GPUs faster, more so than the 5090 since there are less transistors to eat power. But once again I don't think there's anything out there right now to make a judgement on how TSMC 2nd gen N3 is doing with power efficiency.

Since there won’t be any competition it should be priced at $3000+ but above all that I would personally cut back on specs making it almost equal to the 4090 in Rasta with differences being in RT and end up making a bigger profit margin in the end so why do this? Nvidia consumers have extremely deep pockets even those who have a 4090 will upgrade

They got where they are today by making GPUs for gaming while taking a big bet on the parallel processing capabilities of the silicon they were creating outside of gaming and taking it into other products such as data centre chips. Gaming is the core of their success. It is in Nvidia’s DNA, and it built the foundation for all of this. Gamers brought tonnes of GeForce GPUs, giving Nvidia a dominant 80% market share. That gave Nvidia the freedom to explore new opportunities elsewhere and allowed it to gain massive market shares in other segments, such as accelerated computing. Jensen Huang even said that gaming is one of the keys to what AI is experiencing right now. All four of Nvidia's segments saw double digit growth this year. There is plenty of headroom for all of them to grow significantly, so Nvidia ditching the gaming segment would make zero sense. With the release of next gen GPUs coming soon, hopefully there will be strong competition in the gaming GPU market to turn things around. RDNA 4 and Battlemage are said to be highly competitive in the midrange segment. RDNA 5 and Celestial should hopefully bring some competition into the high end and enthusiast class segments.

AMD and intel can be competitive in performance but not so much on the price. next year TSMC was set to increase 5nm/4nm class node from $18k to $20k. that is making the 5nm class node to be as expensive as 3nm when it first comes out. (3nm will also see some price increase).
