@@hariskhan01 The 7900 XT is overpriced and it’s performance is terrible for how much it costs. The 3090 Ti outperforms it in some games. It reminds me of the unlaunched 4080 12GB. The 7900 XT is AMD’s version of the unlaunched 4080 12GB.

MarkPC already uploaded a benchmark and is the exact same performance. Not improving anything as they claimed on the keynote.

4080 are completly overpriced compared to the 4070ti that are already expensive. 20% more performance for a 600€ difference here. that's completly crazy 4070ti holds well in 4K/60

@@MSJChem Cheapest RTX 4070 Ti in Baltic Region (EU) at the moment is 850 euros. Lets up-round RTX 4080 just a little upwards of 1250 euros. The price difference is still 400 euros even after two weeks that I made my comment. It is insane price difference which makes even RTX 4070 Ti look as a half bad deal. However, we need to be patient. Prices of GPUs should in theory drop significantly, because Ngreedia had bought a lot of wafers for crypto demand market. They are lagging behind and catching up to economic recession realities. I think that they will end up producing a lot of GPUs into a shrinking market and they will need to start off-loading them without much profits in an year or two.

I got an MSI Ventus 4070ti for 1200 canadian and that's a really good price to performance deal.. I'm still using 1440p mainly 60fps and ots way more than enough to handle that. Other than Starfield which is a weirdly bad looking game that uses insane GPU performance.

So weird they would gimp the memory bus down to 192-bit with 4070 Ti, even my 3060 Ti uses 256-bit and apparently 192 is causing 4K results to suffer more than they should but 1440/1080P results put it closer to a 3090 Ti while drawing a lot less power.

This entire generation from both AMD and Nvidia have been a MAJOR L, Nvidia is price-gouging mediocre cards, i.e. the 4070ti, which Nvidia blatantly lied about the performance of(they said 3x the performance of the 3090ti at CES, while it doesn't beat the 3090ti in most situations while barely meeting it in others, hell, even the 3090 and 3080ti compete with it at 4K), while AMD can't even launch a stable product. I'll stick with my 3080ti personally. Anyone who gives Nvidia or AMD money during this time is a legitimate cuck.

had to get 3070ti during shortage at it's peak. yeah, it sucks for 4k. Gotta get good 4k card next. Forget nvidia. I am leaving them after evga is gone. Ill get amd , better prices anyways... hope to get more out of this card till prices come down and more things come out

@@abisebas9472 It's hard to say what will happen with prices. I would assume that the 4070 Ti at $800 would push the used prices of the 3080 Ti and 3080 12GB down, but we'll see. I don't think we'll see significant price cuts for the remaining new stock of 30 series GPUs. At least not for the next few months.

The 4070ti in a lot of cases actually beats the 3090 Ti lol.

so the fact the 4070 been lowered to 192 bit bus is because the 4k performance needed restricting to call it a 4070ti . and it didnt have enough vram to be a 4080.. nvidia messed up and rather than scrap the gpu they restricted it ...otherwise most people would have bought the 4070ti over the 3090ti and over the 4080

Man I’m glad I returned the gigabyte gaming OC 4070ti soon as I saw one of the Best Buy’s had a founders edition 4080 in stock. Makes my system look so clean without all those crazy RGB. Also gaming performance is super nice even coming from a 3080 Ti

After all the research and a very few reviews by users. I finally settled for the 4080 Gigabyte Game OC model.. A few days earlier I did order the MSI Gamer OC 4070 TI, but after a day, before it was boxed I cancelled it.. Glad i did now after seeing more reviews.. Right now there are no 4090s available on Retail price, only scalpers with an additional $500 -$700. They can pound sand - The Retail is $600 to high as it is.. BUT if the people are willing to spend their money, the businesses will be glad to collect..

The difference between the 3070 ti vs 3080 is that the 3080 has around a 28% avg increase (OC) in performance over the 3070 ti ... the same test between 4070ti and 4080 has the 4080 as only 16% faster .... much smaller gap - so it's actually the opposite of what you suggest. The 4080 should have been the 4070ti, and the 4070ti should have been the 4070. The 4080 should have been around 25-35% better than the 4070ti for its price point.

Youre paying $800 for 12gb of Vram, might aswell buy a 7900xtx for 20gb of Vram and future proof yourself more. 4080 has 16gb of vram and more efficient power usage. Way better for VR or 4k and Ray tracing. If you don't care about any of these things than sure a 4070 is perfect.

If you look at the specs and compare them to the flagship parts, this should have just been a 4070. Adjusted for inflation, it should have cost 599$, since 3070 was 499$ - "unobtainum" at that price point only due to COVID/ETH mining, but those are gone. Everything else is just corporate greed.

i'd say the smart money is on the 4070 ti. is it worth 4-500 plus bucks more for a SLIGHTLY faster card? if im not mistaken, i see an average of 20 fps with almost zero difference in video quality. when we come to games like Witcher, and Cyberpunk2077 we see single digit difference in fps.

The performance level of the 4090 is very high as well as the price, and simply anything below the 4090 seems to be a huge compromise in performance at a very high price. With RDNA 3 and Ada Lovelace in mind, the 4090 is arguably the most sensible card of the entire new generation right now from a compute standpoint.

The most games in 4k run with roundabout 80FPS an higher. For long term i agree, but in the moment it works well in 4k. DLLS 3 + Frame Generation did a real good job and will do a more better job in the future.

That 192 bit bus is limiting the performance of the 4070 Ti at high resolutions such as 4K. I think it’s stupid that a 70 Ti GPU is on a 192 bit bus. It should have been on a 256 bit bus. 60 class GPUs should be on a 192 bit bus, while 70-class GPUs should be on a 256 bit. I hate how Nvidia gets away with this shit every time because people are too fucking generous to them and give in. The 4090 is the only impressive GPU from this gen currently.

256 bit memory bus used to be 60 class spec before GTX 680... So better get used to seeing 192 bit memory bus on 70 class GPU's from now on. Nvidia shuffled their product stack again and are unlikely to go back on this.

Not sure about that, the 70ti is going higher than what it should be. It's best to go for the 80 because it is actually a fair 20-25% faster which is a considerable bit

12 GB is too low for 4K. Considering 70% of users still use 1440p or even 1080p monitors its actually plenty.

Nah the 192-bit bandwidth is unsatisfactory. The 12GB is just fine and more than a 3070(Ti)/FE 3080.

depends on settings and resolution. You can't expect 100+ at 4k ultra. Modern games are demanding. And the witcher 3 runs bad since the new update, even without RT.

I never game at 4K... I wonder how this test would look like in 1080 and 1440? For me, in this comparison, both cards would be fine. Thanks for the comparison, please do follow-ups.

from all the videos i've watched purchasing high end card for 1080p will bring around the same results as lower end cards (ive watched rtx 3000 series). Unless you're planning on 1440p as u said or 4k gaming getting the most expensive card is not worth it. And everything above 60 fps is still valiable. But once people are used to 1440p or 4k they may not want to lower than the resolution for fps. And right now i'm worried how many VRAM will be enough for future gaming like 5ys+, but seeing nvidia making 12gb vram i assume games for a couple years will still require 8gb vram and when you're gaming at 1080p 8gb vram will be enough for years to come

The fact that this is what they were going to call a lower VRAM 4080 is absolutely ridiculous.

The frame difference is crazy by 26% more on that 4080.

In all honesty I think the 4070 Ti should have just been the 4070 at most, theres quite a gap in performance between the two cards so much that there could be a Ti between them.. but OFC Nvidia is currently stuck on the greed train

4070 at best yes, with frame gen. almost 4060 ti a more fitting name. but name dont matter. price does. All gpus should be 50% off.

if the price comparison is $100 then the RTX 4080 is better. unless the RTX 4070 Ti was $500 then it would be very worth it.

If that was 500, even 600$ RTX 4070 I would've already bought it, but at this point FUCK 40 series

True, but I think these cards are aimed more at the 4K market. At 1440p, is it really worth upgrading from, say, a 3070 or 3080? But I guess that's what you want to know.

At 1440p 4080 is a bit overkill about 200 Fps every game.

I my country 4080 is about 500 dollars more expensive than 4070 ti I wouldn’t pay for +20 fps this money

quick guide for gamers 2023 titles onward and for the next few years: 4070ti = budget 4k gamer 4080 = dedicated 4k gamer 4090 = rich kid who wants to flex with 8k 3090ti, 3090, 3080ti, 3080 = not being produced anymore, dwindling stock = terrible pricing compared to 4070ti, so dont buy gaming in 2k (1440p) = 4070, 3070ti, 3070 gaming in 1080p from 2023 onward for the next few years = any 8GB vram card weaker than the above

If i were a typical gamer who always consumes and doesn't earn money with PC and who always bitches about prices i'd never buy new GPU, probably. It's a waste of money with both AMD and Nvidia. So i'd go for used rtx3070 or rx6800xt to play games in 1440p But if i had enough money and only played games i'd buy AMD for gaming as it's cheaper and you only play games. BUUUUT, Nvidia offers you more: it's better than AMD in photo- videoediting, 4080 is twice faster than 7900xtx in Blender and nvidia simply has better support. So, basically AMD totally sucks ass outside gaming. So pricing is about right. Either Nvidia GPUs should cost more or AMD GPUs should cost less. And if you work on your PC: video, pictures, 3D etc etc your choice is Nvidia and only Nvidia. And even 1500$ GPU will pay off its price in 6 months.

4080 isnt that much better, 25 frames or so isnt that great and once you start to get games that are a bit more demanding that 4080 wont look as good and will be classed a slight step up from the 4070 Ti, Which i would go 4070 Ti and make the best out of it

They making so difficult to choose now days so many graphics cards and not much different im still on 1080ti still going great

The only real difference is the smoothness with the one percent and o.1 percent lows . 4080 games will micro stutter way less

Please don't use Frame Generation in benchmarks!

Both of the 4070s should have had 16 gb of vram and the 4080 should have had 20 gb.

thats weird an i doing something right or wrong here i can play cyberpunk on 4k with my 4080 on ray tracing overdrive and still get 90fps on (1440p i can get 160+fps with same settings), the only thing i drop is crowd to low and motion blur to off. i have the lenovo legion 7i i9 13900kf liquid cooled.

FG should be turned off when comparing GPUs. Also, why benchmark that part of Plague Tale? That's the least demanding part of the game.

Yes, it will indeed start using your system Ram as Vram. And depending on how slow or fast your Ram is, the performance hit could be different. But generally it's never a good thing when it's exceeded: occasional stutters and lowered fps are easily expected.

Crashes, stutters, heavy fps drops. 12 gb is enough for current games. even 10 gb is ok for 95% of games.

For 1440p gaming, the 4070ti is enough and will get you through 3 years without a problem. Of course you can't compare the GTX 1080 to the newer cards, since the 1080 back then was an absolute beast and still outplays newer cards to this day. Be aware tho, if you ever want to upgrade from 1440p to 4k, then you might feel the need to upgrade again, cause of the 4070ti bandwith problem with only 192 bits which is really bad for a card, better than a 3090ti

Yeah- and how expensive these Graphics Cards.

The prices of everything is going up drastically, the dollar is nearing collapse levels and you people act as if we are in a stable economy and cards should still be priced like they were 6 years ago.
