It's so easy to get drawn in looking out of the window in these flight sim videos. When you touched down you could even see the water channels in the runway. Amazing. You can do so much more with a PC version as you have a whole keyboard at your disposal, but with the xbox controller you're limited somewhat.

Lovely - I grew up on Vigra, where the airport actually is, my younger days spent watching 737-200s and Fokker 28s take off on a then shorter runway. Started right about where the PAPIs are now. The road you can see right before touchdown was up in the open then. Have flown that approach many times in real life (as pax) - so impressive how far simulation has come. Thank you!

When the plane goes through a cloud, the visibility variation effect is missing, you can se the whole wing, while actually the visibility reduces to even 1 meter that you cannot even see the wing tip when going through a cloud.

Love these videos so much, it’s realistic and the editing is fabulous to involve the viewers always! Makes me want to get these and apply your mods and knowledge for a great experience.

Give it a few years...Neuralink brain interface, one day you´ll be able to either trigger smell memories or simulate whatever neurological imput is associated with particular tuypes of smells...and as that develpoes, so will the resolution or fidelity of these "smellsations" increase..

Hello i saw your computer specs and im thinking to build a similar pc to yours but it would have a amd ryzen 7 5800x3d and cl16 and 2x16gb ram not cl15 and not 4x8gb ram as yours do you think that will make a difference in performance? also do you think the cpu would be better or worse ( i think better but im not sure) Al the pc would be with a 4070 ti and 32gb but 2x16gb 3200mhz ram but cl16

Really good video as far as the flight itself is concerned - nice job! However to my eyes you've overdone the sharpness/contrast/gamma - from a distance during takeoff the clouds look unrealistic and almost cartoonish. Other than that I like your work - very professional! 😊👌🏻

One of the last holdouts against computer realism is the human body. The fuel loader with the red coveralls looks like he needs to be off work due to having had his left elbow destroyed.

At 18:20 that is a missed approach/go around in any pilot's cookbook...

I loved flying into Vigra because of the scenery. It’s probably one of the most picturesque regions in Europe. Also, like most Norwegian airports ATC would also be very receptive to a requests for a visual approach. May I also suggest that 1,800 metres is loads of room. 1,500 metres or less with a tailwind is when things start becoming challenging. Lastly three reds and a glide slope warning should be a go-around, not a “continue”. Now here’s a question. The runway centreline lights at Vigra were weird. They were highly directional in a vertical sense. That meant that lights further down the runway appeared to self illuminate as you go closer. Weird. I’ve never seen that anywhere else. metres is loads of room.

@jtinsidemk2961 Volumetric clouds are used in many flights sims and they generally look great. I think the issue here is it's graphics settings issue maybe because he's capturing the stream. It's not a pc issue. The machine running this game is a brute with a seriously powerful gfx card.

The perspectives arealwaysunnatural. Like driving a car its much easier to control a real one👌

I used to fuel jets (including the Airbus 319/320) for United. The flight deck looks perfect; but in real life, it looks smaller than the Microsoft view.

I have noticed the same with the 737. Have been simming the 737 for decades and was shocked to see a video of a real 737-500 landing and how small the cockpit is. The pilots give you scale, something you do not get in a computer simulator. They were almost shoulder to shoulder. Cramped would be a good word. Not quite a C152 but alot less roomier than I thought.

I would highly encourage you to learn how to properly fly an airliner. The fenix is an easy airliner for me to learn since it has very in depth tutorials like the 320SimPilot tutorials

Hello is your graphics card factory overclocked or not?

Whatever settings you're using, they're messing up the clouds badly from some angles.

At 6:57, the flight attendant points out the exits on the main deck at the back of the first class cabin as well as on the upper deck and… the lack of comments here just goes to show that people don’t listen to the safety briefing.

One could never in a million years think that was real. The trouble with all sims, and not just flight sims, is they are too clean and over-processed. Real life contains countless trillions of microscopic particles that are all around us, and have the effect of making reality look a tad grubby. There is probably not enough processing power in all the world's computers working together that could replicate earth-bound reality with any real success. The 'reality' offered by the likes of Star Trek's Holodeck will probably never come to fruition, as I don't think mankind will survive long enough to develop it, but that's another topic.

This video is 99% real. Good job!

If you fly in the real world and you can’t see this is a game , you need to hand your PPL in , or get your eyes tested before you take control again 😊

Super high realism, great and stunning state of graphics - just wonder why the co-pilot (seen from the outside at about 13.00 min) spends so much time on the toilet... ;-)

My graphics settings are all in the community tab of my channel. I usually get 30-40 fps

this is just a 4070 impressive!

I also have 4070ti with 13700kf, at low-medium graphics I'm only getting 30-40fps? That's at a modded airport, in the air maybe 50

Yer you need a PC from NASA to fun the game don't worry about a PSU you will need to hook it straight to the power grid 🤣.

Nice flight! But Frankfurt would be a more impressive airport to start from.

Below 150 ‘ AGL the glide slope is muted and the Captain didn’t drink coffee. Those are the only flaws.😅

The intro voices are AI and the cockpit voices are FS2Crew

The flight panel look unrealistic need to improve that for sure.

What about the actual avionics? Are they any better than the last MSFS version? X-plane 11 and 12 were both night and day to MSFS avionics.

Sadly for the last few weeks I have been unable to launch MSFS. it shuts down every time right before it gets to the main screen. Spent $6K to build a machine(Z790 MB, 13th Gen i9 13900k, 64GB 5200htz RAM, Asus 4090GPU, 1300w PSU, WIN 11) to play it on, and it worked awesome for 6 months, then out of the blue it suddenly just won't load, in safe or regular mode. Tried all different solutions from forums, reached out to Asobo Studios, and Steam and have received ZERO response/help. Feeling like I may need to give up on MSFS.

Have you tried reinstalling windows? It also happened to me when I first built my pc and the first time I reinstalled windows and kept all files and it did not work but the second time I tried doing it deleting all files and it worked. If this does not work, please contact me via email and provide some screenshots.

@@4KFlights TAA is not frame generation though is it? Any reason you don't use DLSS3? I would be very curious to know how turning that on would improve things. I'm trying to decide between the 4070 Ti and the 4080 to go with my i9 13900k. I really don't want to pay £400 extra for the 4080 if I can still get 30+ FPS (with frame generation on) and a pretty smooth landing experience into iniBuilds Heathrow, in 4k, in the Fenix, with FS Traffic running and everything maxed out. I don't need 100+ FPS or anything silly, I just don't want to pay £800 for the 4070 Ti only to have a stuttery slideshow at the critical landing phase.

I have DLSS3 turned off since it looked way worse than TAA. TAA is frame generation off. About the graphics card, you should notice a big difference between the 4070ti and the 4080

What a game

My eyes... They hurt lol. Nice video and the flight and landing were smooth, but dial the gamma, contrast, sharpness and the saturation down on the Nvidia filter. Other than the filter being toned down. I would say I rather enjoyed this video!

Correct, and confirmed by the EGPWS "Glide Slope" aural warning. Also a mile off the RWY centerline. If this would have been a real life sim check, this would go down as unsatisfactory check item, and we would try it again.

Just a quick tip. After you have started up the engines you should start the weather radar and when you line up on the runway u should have tcas in the TA/RA setting (until you vacate the runway at your destination)

You disconnected AP 400 feet above the runway and the papi lights displayed 4 reds meaning you were too low. Considering passenger's ease I'd rather gone missed but sadly aviation is all about money. Such a hard landing lol

The 40 series are only good if you have a good(well matter of fact GREAT) CPU laying around and are struggling for fps, the AI generated frames is what is their selling point, I'd argue having a strong CPU and a 3090 would be just as good, if you are happy with the fps just keep it at that, if you want to fly full realism, go 40... but for me I use a RTX 2070 and medium settings which suffice and I absolutely need nothing else, I don't simulate traffic(as it's the most FPS hungry feature of MSFS- If you don't believe my try it and see an automatic FPS gain). I fly comfortably over 60fps into all the big cities, on a RTX 2070 and i7-9700K.

Anyone one who criticizes this I have one question. Have you done a video and do you have the computer power?

Looks great, but fly it all the way to the center of the runway. At 18:18 you are not aggressive enough to hold the line and reduce the vs making it a very nice landing. If this was an LSO rating in DCS you would be thrown off the boat!

Language change is always weird. The word "literally" can now mean virtually. As in "cars were literally being sold for a song". Now insane means extreme? Even shops are calling themselves insane, meaning very cheap. And the changes will continue. Some will stick, some will go by the board, some will be resurrected. What would Shakespeare think of our English? Chaucer? What do Londoners think of Texas English? Insane may will drop off the language in its new meaning, but it may become standard.

Cumulus clouds still look awful in MSFS2020. Like they came out of a volcano.

You need one from NASA. The game is ok its more of a headache then anything it's full of bugs and its only a single thread game. Yes you can go spend 3500 bucks on a 4090 and another 1200 on the top CPU but you are still gonna be limited from the single thread.

The RTX is what is making ray tracing possible.

Last time i was airborne in MSFS my clouds looked much more real than this. You don't have everything on Ultra i guess.

Why didn't you land on the centerline? Your landing gear could go off the runway when you land on the side like that.

Definitely looks like computer game graphics - from perhaps 5-10 years ago.
