RTI Mora Real -Time ... Real - World Field Test

Спорт

I have recently been lucky to have had the RTI Mora for field testing ... its the pre-production prototype and is the first one ninth country. In my opinion this is going to be one of the big hitters in the airgun world. The .22 calibre Mora is fitted out with the Hawke Vantage 4-16x50 SF30 ... Tier-One carbon fibre tactical bipod ... Tier-One tactical mounts ... Air Arms 18gr diablo fields ...

A rifle that lets you diagnose where a leak is coming from. That’s the kind of innovation I want to see. RTI puts out some interesting stuff.

30 minutes for a quick review? Nice. I appreciate your work. This looks like a very well thought out rifle, including the left hand cocking! I'd probably like to extend the bipod rail forward but that's easy enough. This may just push me to get an fac.

Honestly there is so much to say about the Mora and keeping the vid to 30 mins was a task …,the left hand cocking is a pleasure to use as everything can be kept in place such as scope eye and trigger finger very much like the AGT’s … definitely would benefit from an extended picatinny rail but the Tier-One bipod helps … thanks for watching and the great comment

really tempted to get the 9mm when I get my revised FAC returned to me, about the same price as an FX King I think, if you are buying one that says it all to me

Think for uk use, the sweet spot wud be .22 or .25 cal fac, 600 or 700mm barrel, and the stubby 1100cc bottle to keep weight back, and proportionality of looks and handling

Hi Mason and thanks for the kind words mate …I don’t see why not as RTI cover sub12 with the p2 & p3 and it’ll be a big market for them … although it’ll be better suited to fac with the power levels available … thanks for watching really appreciate it

Love my RTI Priest... thanx for vid. Wish to have seen the real shooting of it. The only thing I would of liked is if the Mora could of had the cocking lever ambidextrous. How much better would that of been for the "perfect" gun. Would of solved the "lever being in the way of the gauge" point.

Thanks for watching and the comment Carl … it was my plan to get plenty of footage but with the p3 coming I just didn’t have room for both … that will be fixed though and when I get another mora the first thing I’ll be doing is getting footage but rest assured it is as accurate as it possibly could be and I’ll be buying one for sure 😊

Hello Mick. Just read AW. You bought a rti p3? No mora coming then? Did you sell ur impact m3? Just wondering... Been wanting an impact for years, but I don't think it's "finished" yet, still got issues imo. Now think I wud go fac .25 cal 700mm mora instead, if it can group slugs at 100-120m. .22lr capability. Need accuracy and repeatability, without fps creep or drift, or low fps first shots. Have u any insider knowledge of an impact m4 under development on the radar?

It’s a gunroom review of my findings while out field testing … as mentioned at the start I wasn’t going to get too far into it as it’ll be in the magazine who get 1st dibs … apologies for any confusion fusion caused … although it did go back sooner than I anticipated but the P3 will get the full monty

I keep putting off getting an impact, cos i dont think they,re "perfect" yet. Maybe an impact m4 with quality traditional barrel and a few tweeks wud sway me. Or this!!!

Hi Robert a thanks for the question mate … during the set up I was getting a good four mags at up to 38ftlb so I’m guessing the shot count will be immense at 12ftlb and by the time it hits the shelves it’ll be even better … hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍🏻

Will it be like p3 but disguised? I bought the rti p3 the worst garbage I ever bought, bad trigger valve, hammer breakage, bad pressure regulator, bad side lever, rti you have to change all the engineering if you want to continue selling because they are a disaster

Sounds like a bad experience with your P3 … I’m not hearing these things from other owners but maybe a bab gun but tbh it sounds like it’s just not for you … I’ve actually just bought a P3 and I’m delighted with it and its performance…,thanks for the comment though and for watching and I hope the Mora, when it’s released, is to your liking

Hi and thanks for the question … depending on model it weighs between 9 & 10.3lbs … not lightweight as I said in the vid but wasn’t a problem for me and quite lighter than some of my other cf rifles … bear in mind it’s a prototype and some wright may be lost by the time it hits the shelves

The big problem with this rifle is: Some Idiot made the cocking handle only on the left side, this position is only for semi-automatic rifles. It won't sell much, it will be a failure just because of one stupid detail.

Hi Fabio … think we’ll have to agree to disagree on this … I find the left hand cocking lever is a helpful thing as I can keep my finger in the trigger area while my eye is on the scope … very much like my AGT Vulcan … I do understand that this is not for everyone but I don’t think it’ll have a great impact on sales … not sure about the “idiot” reference think that could have been worded somewhat differently
