This game is awesome, and it's even more awesome that you're playing it! A few things to mention about it: - If you couldn't tell from the logo, the blue bird is actually a promo level for Bits and Bops, another rhythm game that just released its demo a few months ago. Rhythm Doctor actually has quite a few promos, and there's one for the game Unbeatable, one for Bits and Bops, and an entire three-level set for Muse Dash! - If you type out the word 'Samurai.' outside of a level (including the capital S and the period at the end), something very funny will happen. If you want it to stop, just type 'Samurai.' again. - You can customize your sleeve with pixel art! - When you think about the way it operates, Puff Piece is basically Lockstep - 7th Beat Games also made A Dance of Ice and Fire, which is another rhythm game, and it's a lot more challenging than this game is. - The custom level scene for this game is quite active, and level 4-4 (which you'll see pretty soon) was actually a community creation that got added to the official game!

@@cryonictaco9948 The best way that I've heard to do it is to talk with the janitor. He has a ton of text, so you have enough time to type it all out. Either that or during an area transition, but you have to be pretty fast.

He played it! After seeing him play a few rhythm games, I wanted to see him play this game. Unlike most rhythm games, it is solely about rhythm and not technical skill, so perfect for a casual player. It's also one of the most creative and fun rhythm games I've played. This gonna be a treat to watch! :D

You say that, but that was also true for Rhythm Heaven, and that tended to lean more towards Rhythm Hell, or at least, Rhythm Purgatory, for a while.

imo, Rhythm Heaven is a bit harder to follow at times because of how many different levels there are. Rhythm Doctor is much simpler in that regard to me. Both are definitely Rhythm Hell tho :D

My dad is a computer guy and he has like 5 screens so I can’t imagine what that dancing window would be like with that setup

I'm really hoping I'm not speaking too soon here, but I'm 2 songs in and it's *almost* starting to feel like Dan can graduate to "man with SOME rhythm"! Edit: while I'd love to make some quippy "stick to your day job" joke or something, I gotta give credit where it's due. This game would've probably killed him back when he played Rhythm Heaven, but he really has improved so much!!!

He deserves to be more confident. Oriental/weary insomniac took me a few tries, and he got it while commentating!

At 1:19:00 when RT is bopping his head the light reflects off of his headphones in a weird way and I thought he was balding

the people saying there was delay during calibration were probably listening with Bluetooth headphones, which have a slight delay that is usually unnoticeable

I think it was just Twitch. I have blutooth headphones and it was in sync for me, but when I watch people on twitch the audio will occasionally desync, especially after ads.

Quick tip from when I still played percussion: you can say/think "sev" instead of "seven" to make counting easier.
