Its a miracle that this even still exists considering the vouge for wiping everything that was recorded in the 70's.
omg brings back so many memories when I was a kid, it was always on Saturday at about 5

I loved the sneaky snake
Thank you so much for sharing. I've been trying to get the original theme for years as I loved Bill Golding's voice even as a 10 year old. WW was the very 1st program I ever saw on our new rented TV in 1969.... Sat evening, single channel, started at 5.30 with WW. Then Angelus and news and Felix The cat. The Man From UNCLE, The Virginian, News, the Late Late and closedown and we stayed up for every minute including the national anthem. Magical memories

A simpler era, times were hard but nothing hard work didn't cure and we didn't need a degree in quantum physics to get a cleaning job.

Rory had a brilliant voice.
When we were children this was great entertainment , yes only one channel and in black and white but still enthralled us in those innocent times

It frightened the shite out of many children with the spooky puppets.
Wow my childhood revisited black n white tv one channel .
Rory “Bill” still does voice overs on the radio for advertising, he must be in his 80s now .

where did you come by this? Any idea about the shots taken of the wagon at a parade in Clonmel around 70/71 ish that were used for the opening sequences for one series. Gets a mention from an interview with Eugene himself. Thanks
Rory did the voice for Brennans bread.

my kids loved this... have to say acting was pathetic .. did my head in..... if it were today they would be singing " here comes the wagon, the paddy; paddy paddy wagon " thats the difference between my generation and todays...
