RTB Ep: 2: We were rescued by a helicopter after a bad motorcycle accident.
In our previous episode we finally managed to get to the starting point of our dream. The North Cape. We had a wonderful day of driving that ended with us crashing into a river because a bridge was missing.

I got something in my eye while watching this, and they went all watery.... You may think you stuffed up having that accident but I really think the opposite. I mean accidents do happen. The fact you could call emergency services and had the co-ordinates. The fact you were both wearing protective gear. The fact you didn't panic. Kudos to you both for showing others the right way to go adventure riding.
As I watch this I know she took her life but it’s good she saved yours. Don’t let it go to waste keep you head up and try and stay positive. She seems very sweet and it’s sad she had demons and took her life. RIP.
RIP Pia we will miss you a lot
Amazing how well pia handled this situation! May she Rest in Peace!
Watching these videos in retrospect is heartbreaking and educational. Bless your soul Pia. x
Pia, kudos to all who trained you as a nurse. They (and you) did a great job.
Such a bad incident! and I am very sorry for your loss of your girlfriend. It’s not fair how some people come in and then out of our lives. i know you are still healing and i want you to know that I praise you for having the courage to re-live this situation that will ultimately help you heal. Keep pushing forward my friend and healing along the way as her spirit is with you, and is enjoying you pushing on, living your dream .
I’m watching this after the loss of this amazing person...it is painful to watch...I’m hoping that you don’t give up on your dreams
I am just mute after seeing this. Feels like I was there and it was horrible. So lucky Pia was ok enough to do her calm magic on the situation. My heart goes out to both of you. /Rob
Man this is really heartbreaking to watch. Stay strong my friend, RIP Pia.
I am really amazed at how Pia handled the whole situation. No panic or loss of control whatsoever.
Wow what a wave of emotions finding this channel today.. Best wishes from Canada, very sorry about your loss man.
I looked for this video on purpose as you mentioned this accident many times. Man WTF!!!
You are a brave hero, Pia. I loved how you handled the situation. Get well soon, Kenneth, there are only 16000 Km to go❗
I can only imagine how tough it must have been for the two of you, but this video was heartbreaking and tough to watch. I can’t believe you kept filming after both being injured. It must have been a huge relief when help arrived.
So devastating. You both handled that so well under some very tough circumstances. I was involved in a similar type of incident many years ago and called a rescue helicopter for my brother, so this video brought back a few memories. My brother fully recovered over time, and I pray the same for you too. Please keep everyone posted on your recovery. Get well.
Gosh I was in tears watching that, glad you’re both ok and on the mend x
"i feel something running in my stomach" must be about the most horrifying answer to the uninevitable "how are you feeling?" after an accident 😔
Unfortunately I watched your April 21 video before this one. Pia is so strong. May you have a complete and uneventful recovery. I look forward to continuing to follow your story.
Pia, how you thought to video the aftermath of your wrecks is beyond my comprehension, BUT WE ARE SO GLAD YOU DID! Also, it was obvious your nurse's training kicked in as you appeared calm and seemed to be doing all the necessary medical checks. Thank you for posting this edition. You cannot know how much we learned from it and you may have saved US from something in the future. Bless you both.
