rsx shifter issues and a supercharged lotus elise

In this video, we’re making a grocery run in my 2006 Acura RSX Type S. I listened to your feedback and this video has no background music in it, but I did some vlogging this time so let me know in the comments if you want me to do more/less of this style of video. I talk about some of my future plans with the RSX, K-Tuned shifter issues, the time I rented a supercharged Lotus Elise in Phoenix, AZ, cars that influence me, and more.

I actually installed the Acuity shifter in my '06 RSX Type-S w\ 83K yesterday. I'm extremely impressed with their shifter so far! The centering to neutral is strong. I got the 4way.

Nice! That’s cool to hear. I have heard nothing but good things so far about it. Hoping to get mine installed in the next week or two.

Love the videos man! I would do the acuity short shifter. I have it for my 8thgen civic and have zero complaints. Cable bushings and detent springs with a really good transmission fluid will work wonders. I use Torco blue 👍

Appreciate it! Thanks for watching. And I appreciate you providing that feedback. I’ve heard/read/watched great things about it so definitely leaning that way.

Loving my RSX-S so far. Been learning manual driving in a city (rough.) and finally trying to learn stuff like heel-toe down shifting etc. I have such a long potential mod list, so id love to see where your build goes for inspiration!

Glad to hear it! I imagine that is rough to learn like that. Awesome that you’re learning heal-toe! That is something I definitely want to learn too and get used to doing. Thanks so much! I’m excited to keep making little enhancements with it. Is yours completely stock right now?

I would love to get my hands on a Datsun 240Z. I learned to drive in my grandfathers 280ZX with my mother. It was great. I think I would like to do more of a track build rather than a street with the 240Z.

Nice! That would be a fun car to learn on. And I love the lines of those cars, they have a lot of character. A track build would be pretty sweet.

Happy New Year! 🥳 thanks for watching haha hey, a manual just makes driving more fun! And you should do that. It’s been pretty cold here in STL too.

@@flonought I saw STL in the single digits! Stay warm. It's icy here - drove into work (a nervous wreck the entire way😊), however I can deal with the cold more than the hot summer!

For everyone here that doesn’t know brads sense of direction is terrible. That being said I’m proud you only missed one turn this time lol

Well maybe I just wanted to take the long way, Alex… but yes, I was proud too 😆 I somewhat have been better with directions over time, but I’m still pretty shit.
