RSX Billet Shifter - Is this the best budget option?
This video has been a long time coming, I've had this shifter for a very long time. I finally was able to install it into the RSX. I have a few more cool installs for this car but I wanted to address the shifter first. Third gear started to never go in and the throw had too much play.
The Maxpeeding Rods shifter is one of the best budget options out currently. Super easy to install and honestly for the prices you can't go wrong. The biggest time sink is the interior, the install is under 30 minutes.

More content?! Daaang. I've always wondered how these shifters are. I mean it's incredible they sell them for the money! Only $97 right now, $92.15 after your coupon. I mean that's so affordable. Looks like it shifts nice honestly.

Trust me it’s worth every penny. HUGE upgrade from the stock shifter & I love how you’re able to adjust the throw so you can dial in exactly where you like it best. & there’s absolutely no play so you really know you’re in gear. My stock shifter in my em2 was so loose, sometimes it literally felt like I was in neutral while in gear lol

I really don’t know why people are still spending 10x on the k-tuned one. Makes no sense.
The coloring on this video is VERY relaxing.

He's baaaaaackk!! VROGUUUUUUU
Okay soooo this looks legit. Maybe cop one of these for the FA5? Does this all go back in together nicely like oem shift boot and what not ... we need a follow up vlog please and thank you
If they were to come out with a 1-2nd lock out and beat drag cartels price I’d deff be interested to give that part a shot!
If you do the detent springs it’s going to feel so much more crispier wen you shift and it’s easy and cheap and your going to love driving the car more

Thinking of adding this to my ep3 Anyone on here ever done that assuming I need rsx shift cables 🤔
WOOHOO!! CHRISTIAN IS BAAACK!!!
are you able to put the shift boot back on with these kind of billet shifters?

Yeah you can in most cases. Sometimes you have to make some minor adjustments on the right side of your center console bc it’ll interfere with 5th & reverse but in my em2 it all fits back perfectly. But I ended up removing the shift boot anyways cuz I liked the way it looks popping through the console.
These shifters are made in the exact same facility as the K-tuned V1 billet aluminum shifter. These do not have as stringent quality control on the milling as the K-tuned ones did.
Is there any adjustment other than the height?
