RSPCA- What we do
2014 was a busy year for us. We answered 1,299,163 calls to our 24-hour cruelty line, that's one call every 27 seconds. We also rescued and collected 128,209 animals, while investigating 159,831 cruelty complaints.
We rehomed 400 horses, gave 53,263 animals a second chance at a forever home and released 16,616 animals back into the wild.

I love animals so much. I feel like 1/3 of all people who get pets, either get them just to try to keep something alive, or get one just to unleash their emotions on. You really should be getting them because you love animals and have done research. You want to get one because you want to love it and make it happy. It’s not an item or thing. It’s a living being that wants to be loved from the moment it’s born. Just like you!
