Trust me, some sound samples on casio 6300in (eg. Brass, whistle, French hirn etc) sounds better than my Korg Krome, Yamaha Mx. It's the sample files used, that matters, short sampling but taken from Privia

Bro it's not about sounding more better, its about the original tone sound which casio produces which is far more better than roland. For eg- flute and harmonium

Roland XPS 30 sounds great...you can't make comparisons based on tones quality..but you can make compare on its body... because Roland offers expandable where we can creat tones..

I have been using xps30 for about 3yrs.. had a great experience. It has realistic sounds, keys are so comfortable to fingers.. All tones are amazing. Had a lots of functions that can ease ur work in a smarter way .

There maybe difference in sample rate but the apparent difference is retaining of sound effects and little bit of sound equalization on Roland xps 30.

The Casio tones are sweeter and more realistic than that 9f the Roland's. Casio is good for Studio based Production. I have found the Sitar tone ( which is our major benchmark for checking Indian tones) is even better than that of the Yamaha's. ( Of course both are of Arranger class). The Roland is a bit harsh. However, the Roland is more user-friendly for live- stage performance! Thanks for the excellent presentation!!

There is lot difference in these both the keyboards..Casio is an arranger and Roland XPS 30 is a workstation...for Casio you will get only 2 splits and for XPS 30 you will get 16 splits that makes the tone heavier...you just connect both the keyboards to PA and make a difference with the whole band...your Casio will drop...i was listening both the brass you played...Roland sounds with full... Roland got more features than Casio ... Roland got pitch band stick with modulation... Casio got only pitch band...Roland got more tone saving memory banks than Casio...Roland got Dbeam which Casio doesn't have...with Dbeam you can assign lot of things...Roland got rubber pads for sampling which Casio doesn't have and there are lot of things can done on Roland...you may be a good keyboard player but please don't give false comparison with both keyboard...if you want to compare than do with arranger to arranger and workstation to workstation

In this comparison, I liked the Casio way better. Personally I have Roland Fantom X6, Yamaha MX61, Korg microSTATION, and a truckload of arrangers, and workstations from Arturia, Kurzweil, and Korg, and controllers from Alesis, AKAI, Behringer, and Novation which I run into latest versions of Logic Pro, Studio One, and MOTU Digital Performer. The controller from Alesis is the Vortex II wireless, which runs the whole set up. This video inspired me to get a ROMpler from Casio or Yamaha for couple of hundred bucks or less just to have laying around under the bed for one of those sleepless nights.
