If ur transmission cooler share the same radiator coolant line then ur problem is transmission clutch disk slipping . That heat from transmissions burning fluid

Have you checked the secondary air injection relay?

There’s a short to ground which is drawing power and loosing power to engine.

Its your body control module

How muc did it all coast ?

What was the solution?

It can be The Temperature Sensor or Thermostat

Idle control valve

Our 2004 honda odessey was doing that while we were driving, pulled over and we were leaking some fluid some where. We couldn't tell if it was red but we could smell it was transmission fluid. Still don't know what's wrong!

Classic symptoms of bad crank sensor guys. Look it up.

Hi im having some issues with my rpm reading super high,as high as it can possibly go. I start up my ford 250 and before driving ten mins it shoots all the way high.. Where can i start with someone like this? Common problem?

This sounds like your Idle Control Valve. Check the connection first. Clean and see if that works if not you may need a new idle control motor. Not too expensive 50 bucks or so. That would be my guess. Hope this helps.

I'd say a valve spring on your overdrive.

Speed sensor

Change the air filter and clean the MAF sensor.

i have the same problem with my suzuki kei 660cc k6a engine with automatic 4 speed transmission and for the speed of 80 kmph the rpm jumps to 4k if anyone get the solution to overcome this shit then please let me know

My Honda acty kei van is doing this also similar. I push the car to 4K rpm and it jumps straight to 6k . Happens in mostly all gears

I had this problem On 9/11/2020, mine goes up to 2,000 then resets. Biggest problem is my transmission Problem light comes on and I need To get my ball joints replaced asap .

boom boom if your putting your foot down and it happens might be the clutch... i havent fixed mine yet but thats what the my mechanic is saying
