RPI College Dorm Tour! (Davison Hall)
Here's a tour of the dorm I lived in during my freshman year of college at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute! I lived in Davison Hall which is a suite-double room with a privacy wall and AC. There's surprisingly a lot of storage room. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Davison. It was a cozy little room. If you have any questions about the dorms just let me know in the comments!

okay yeah I'm a year late uploading this, but here is the dorm I stayed in last year when I went to RPI :) If anyone has questions about the dorm just let me know - I'm happy to help! If you go to college (or have gone) what helped you decide which dorm to stay in?

My birthday is in October too.
Thank you so much for this video. As a soon to be RPI freshman it is really nice to see a tour of a dorm room.

Wow! Crazy how different the rooms look. I live up on the 4th floor of Davison for the 2023-2024 academic year. They completely renovated the place and everything looks so different!
So cool, I was a freshman in ‘88-‘89 living in Davison Hall on the 3rd floor…. Loved it there. RPI is the greatest school! Good luck with your studies!
Nice video! I'm watching this to know what my moms dorms could have looked like at RPI :) I visited the campus during the summer with my mom when I was 12 but we only went to the library, student store, and Ben and Jerrys. But that's all I remember
We're neighbors in space if not in time- when I was at RPI I lived in Davison 204 during the '13-'14 academic year.

This video is very 😉 enjoyable! Your dorm room looks cozy and comfortable and functional. It reminds me of the Barricks I lived in when I was in the military! BTW how well did the air and heat work?.... 🌈🌸🤗🌵🗽

Can you explain the default dorms that the average freshman selects? Are there two sides like in yours (This is different from other colleges I've seen)?, Are there community bathrooms/in room bathrooms based on which room rate/selection you choose? Are there ethernet ports in the dorms? Any help would be much appreciated!

@@alejandrabarajas2009 The freshman 5 are pretty standard but don't have AC (that's only an issue for the first couple of weeks). Barton is great, but it's all triples. I would recommend Nugent, Warren or Davison, which all have doubles, but have a split wall down the middle.

Yes, this was video she took before she quit college to do domino art full time.She’s not back in school and as far as I can tell isn’t planning on going back anytime soon.

I know this is kinda late, but the big hero 6 character is called "Baymax".
I live in upstate NY before I move south. I know where RPI is. I surprised you live in where my one borther go to. I want to know how long you live in RPI? I like you KZread channel very much. How you get the dino record do you have a record in the world record in the book and what page you record is in?

I've been to most of the other dorms, but it's really all a matter of preference. First ask yourself, do you want a single room? Double? Triple? Do you want a private bathroom, shared suite bathroom, or are you okay with a floor bathrom? Do you need AC? I personally wanted a double with either a private bathroom or shared suite-double bathroom, so my first choice was Davison. Having suitemates was also really nice to get to know other people. After that, Warren is really nice (has a private bathroom), Nason is good, and Bray/Crocket/Hall/Cary Hall are all basically the same. Barton is the newest with really nice study rooms (and has an elevator!) but they are triples and are kinda squished. Hope this helped, and good luck next year!
