[RPG Maker Game] - "Ib" How to get the "Bad Side Ending"

ENDING part! First one will be the bad side, then the good side will follow soon!
I'll list the condition down here.

The most important thing the affect the ending you will get is a counter that more or less represents Mary's anger toward Garry, or in some cases Ib. Would call this "Death Count"
If the Death Count is 3 or higher... you will get to the bad side ending. Very easy to do, so be careful if you wanna go for a better ending.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Condition that will raise up your Death Count :
- Choose to close Ib's eyes when Garry is about to kick the mannequin head in the mirror room (+1 Death Count).
- Pull the rightmost cord in the cord room. This will make a mannequin head fall down and crack (+! Death Count).
- Kick the doll that follow you, do not move it aside (+1 Death Count).
- Tell Mary that you would leave with Garry (+1 Death Count). Mary will ask you only if you have no Death Count at the time being (toward the brown area).
- Break all 3 mannequin heads in the "Lady with an umbrella" room (+1 Death Count).
- Fail to find the key in the doll room (+2 Death Count).

And then, when Garry died, you have 2 choice :
- After Mary is done with Garry's rose, go back and get Garry's lighter and burn Mary's painting. (Ib will has to eat the candy in process) If you jump into the mural, you will get the "Forgotten Portrait" ending.
- Go straight to the gallery to get the "Together, Forever" ending. The conversation at the end will be slightly different, depend on the item that you have, a candy or a lighter.
- If you don't jump into the painting, or go with the fake Garry, you get the ending "Ib All Alone".

Some other things to note :
- Kicking the mannequin head in the mirror room makes more mannequin heads appear. Then the room with the poster about damaging exhibits will has a hanged mannequin put in it. It fills the vase below with red paint/blood, which will make your rose wilt.
- Breaking all three mannequin heads in the umbrella lady room makes more appear outside in the main hall. Later, a hanged Ib figure also show up near the pink house in the sketchbook, though Garry isn't able to see it.
- If Garry moves the persistent doll aside, he gets the ball of paint from its stomach before it runs into the room.
If Garry kicks it, the doll will be decapitated and he'll get the ball of paint from its head.
- If you fail the doll room, Ib and Mary find Garry talking to the dolls/rabbits. Ib snaps him out of it (here will be the choice to call his name or SLAP him in the face). Personally, I would surrender to the doll room just to get this ending. :D
- If Ib calls Red Eyes picture "cute" or "pettable," Mary will take this to be Ib's opinion of the blue dolls and comment on it in the toy box while discussing the rose trade.
- If you have the Candy in the "Together, Forever" ending, Mary will eat it. If you took the Lighter (and ate the Candy to make room), Mary will say it's dangerous and take it from you to throw away.

Only in game sound is available. I'm using Windows XP and I don't know how to record both the game sound and commentating sound at once.
I normally don't like playing horror AT ALL, but this game is actually the very first horror game that I feel so eager to play. Resident Evil series isn't counted though.
You can pretty much find the game easily via Google. I wouldn't give a link here though.

The hanged garry ending made me cry because he really took care of Ib :( Now he's in the world of Guertena :(

Even the I've seen and played this game 102 times, I still get scares cause of those paintings just jumping out and attacking you. :/
Garry... He's my favorite... ;^;
Despite which ever choice you choose, Garry will give his rose anyway. :( He can't escape his death, that is it for the bad side ending.
I just noticed that in the final picture for "Together, Forever" It looks like they're in the final room of the Pink Area, the room at 17:59.

The 'Forgotten Portrait' ending makes me cry. :(
The white ball of paint gives you a hint who has the key...

The only ending i consider good is Promise of Reunion, Why would you prefer a yandere painting over Garry?

I became depressed over the forgotten portrait ending. I was all Ib, Garry isn't sleeping...
Well, it's definitely the other way for people who like Mary as a character though (including me). Yet, I like the fact that we got several different opinion here.
Yep, I guess the truth is always ironic. But that's what make the game so touching. :)
Eat the candy and loot the corpse... ...Ib is hardcore
"Together forever" ending is funny, because the "game over" soundtrack is playing on the background xD
Yep, it is. However, I believe all of this still works in the current version (1.05) as well.

Actually, on the second floor of the gallery (in the area just up the stairs) in the beginning of the game, you can see Garry looking at a painting. He is a real person. And Mary, in order to go in to the real world, needed someone to take her place in the world she previously lived in. She wanted to be with Ib in the real world, so she chose Garry to take her place. When she asks about who Ib would rather leave with, the situation she talks about is truly the case. That's what I think at least.

When you pulled the rightmost cord in the cord room, I got a doll with red paint splattered around it(since a doll can't have actual blood) instead of a mannequin head.
I love that edging too! Together Forever!

Yeah, that one is so sad. I like Mary and I want her to get out, but I DO NOT want Garry to.... T-T Emotional stuff is what make Ib so sooo good. I really love this game. :D
Garry was dying while walking down the hall way because Mary was pulling the petals of his blue rose out. When all the petals are gone, the rose die, so does the owner.

I hate these endings. I love the ending were ib and garry leave together then forget everything but then remember because garry has ib's handkerchief

He saw Mary´s portrait in a book, during the course f the game. And Garry was summoned so that Mary can steal his life.

He doesn't die from the doll room (but got some kind of temporary amnesia until Ib slap his face). Still, he will die in the bad side ending (if you got it).

That's 2 death count for you. And if you got 3 death count, that's an inevitable bad side ending.
That's because you did not kick the mannequin head in the mirror room, I think.
that Red Eyes doll is freaking scary and disturbing in the doll room...
I think she's the only one who could remember since the ending clearly show that she tries to get rid of everything that might bring back Ib's memory.
Of course, actually a fan of his. :D
No matter what you choose, Garry will make up his own mind and give his rose anyway.

These videos are driving me nuts. I just want to know what happens if Ib is by herself and decides to sleep on the black diamond shaped bed you see near the end of the game just before you get the black key. If you find that bed and Garry is with you, he talks you into not taking a nap on it and that it wouldn't be a good idea... I also want to know if maybe the artist himself is in that gallery.

Wolfprotectiononly8 If you keep sleeping and not 'wake up' you get the fourth version of Ib all alone (I seen a walkthrough with that)

Yep, if you want Ib to slap Garry, you must not break anything and must be careful not to make the death count go up.

Hmm, if you didn't notice. That one is in the good side ending.
No one knows. But that Garry is an illusion, so Ib is literally alone forever since Mary has been burnt to ash before.

What's gonna happen if Garry's dead and Ib killed Mary but choose "step away" instead of leap into the painting? (Fake Garry doesn't appear yet)

He's dead, but if he learned how much you truly deserved to be real, I think he would be kind enough to sacrifice himself so you and Ib could be happy!

Goddammit!!!! SHUT UP!! Please stop hating on Mary!!!! All she wanted was to be a real person and to live happy!! I know she tried to kill Garry and eats the candy but shut up! If you were trapped in a painted world and you were so lonely,wouldn't you want a friend and to be a real person,I feel bad and sad for Mary.. I wish there was a ending where they are all together, and yes there is one where they are but ib and Garry are dead,I want a ending where they are alive and happy!, Just stop hateing on mary ....please #pleasestopit

+kero rainyson ikr, she's a well made character, though she kill Garry, she has her own motivative to do so, can't hate her on that, and damn, the only ending where they're all together is "welcome to the world of Gutenalla"
My first ending was the "Together Forever" ending, only I had the lighter because I thought the game was longer and that I needed it, and don't blame Mary for being a cold blooded killer, Garry won't let you leave the room until you actually burn the vines it's not just in scripting ether because you could leave any other room without him bothering you about it
You DO deserve it, Mary! You deserve to be happy and loved! If you didn't have to kill someone in order to take their place, you wouldn't have hurt anyone!!! Sadly, you had to do it! You just had to! Plus, Garry lived a wholesome life! If anyone else was in your situation, they'd probably do it too! I mean....YOU....YOU DESERVE TO BE REAL! (Starts to cry) You...are such a sad,lonely child in the painting world....you deserve to actually live, and have people who truly love you!!! D"X
AND THAT IS ON THE GOOD SIDE ENDING. IT MEANS THAT YOU CANNOT GET THAT VERSION OF IB ALL ALONE IF YOU'VE ALREADY COME INTO THE BAD SIDE.

I didn't thought it was fake Garry, i get this end and i thought Garry comes to ib with his last power, and he dies, and we get Ib All Alone ending.

Wait, isn't there a set of dialogue at some point if you got the 'Hanged Garry' message that has Garry saying he feels something around his neck.
Dangit! If I hadn't failed to find the key in the doll room, I would've got the good ending. I had chose to close my eyes, and kick the doll too. Wow...i'm evil XD

so does Mary remember everything? or were her memories changed as well in the Together Forever ending?
Me too I wish they have a true ending which saves both Garry AND Mary. But I guess they can't since Mary has to take a person from the outside to take their place.
Do you know the e-mail of the guy who translated the game? I'm trying to play it and I have downloaded RTPMaker but when I start it up and click "New Game" the game box goes black and a "Not implemented error" appears endlessly; whether I try full screen or not. I really want to play this game but there are no explanations for this error as of yet.

The reason for this is because people have already done too many bad things in the game therefore they cannot find the red rose in the toy box because Mary has it or it's not there at all. Only the BEST ending will Ib find the red rose! I found it :D

What freaks me out the most is Mary´s blue scarf. Because blue represents Garry, and seeing Ib and Mary in "Together Forever" with the red and blue scarf... it just makes me shudder. It´s just, she can´t just take the place thats supossed to be Garry´s. It´s wrong.

That's the FAKE Garry. Didn't I write it down in the video already? 19:09 He's just an illusion created by the "fabricated world". Mary is not the one who create the illusion like some people would say.

i have to admit the forever together ending was cute. even though its the worst.
Cuz the only ending you could get Mary out require Garry to be dead. That is why. :\
That's the saddest one of all in my opinion. :(
I have yet to find a video of someone finding the rose in the toy box.. Is it jut me? Because i found it ._.
whatever you choose Gary will STILL surrender his rose even if you stay quiet in the whole conversation.. and this proves that.. GARY LOVES IB dawwwww :D

Well Mary needs to steal the life of a person to get into the real world, and she doesnt want to take Ib´s so she takes Garry´s. I personnaly think she started to hate Garry when he lit his lighter during that blackout, it made her scared. It could be that she at first intended to take Ib´s life and Garry just wound up getting involved in the whole thing.
You just failed to get out in time and let the "Red Eyes" get you. :)
Also, Does garry die if you Leave him?
