RP Tutorial: Bamboo Jungle Bases
Hi folks, we have another tutorial from mcfonz today. He's sharing how he makes the bamboo bases for his jungle themed table.
Materials needed:
- 3mm MDF sheet for the base (or base material of your preference)
- wooden cocktail sticks
- model bamboo (sourced from ebay/amazon/etsy etc)
- foamboard
- mixed herbs
- fine sand (chinchilla sand was used for this vid)
- plastic aquarium plants (sourced from ebay/amazon/etsy etc)
- earth paint for base (B&Q mocha coloured emulsion used here)
- GW paints; Rhinox Oxide, Zandri Dust and Ushabti Bone.

This is an excellent tutorial, thank you! I bought bamboo YEARS ago (for Osprey's Ronin) and never used it. This may just encourage me to give it a try and make some stands. Wicked.

(mcfonz) Glad to hear! All we wanted to do with this channel is to try and share ideas of how we do things and show miniatures as they come and lined up against other ranges to help folks make informed decisions on purchases. Always really good to hear when we have helped folks! I still have a load of jungle stuff to get through yet. Is there anything else along these lines you'd like to see a tutorial for?
