Imagine how amazing a mania match between Angle and Taker would have been!

It's funny that people often forget about the two matches Undertaker and Kurt Angle had on No Way Out and Smackdown, both of which were considered some of the best matches of the year. Then again, they were both basically transitional feuds since immediately afterwards, Angle went against Rey and Taker went against Henry.

This show holds a special place in my heart being the 1st ever PPV I ordered,I'd only been watching wrestling for a month at the time.

Yeah I felt they should of had Mysterio v.s Henry for the belt. I feel as tho Mysterio's title win was lost in short triple threat match. Taker v.s Angle at WM XXII that would have been awesome.

No no Undertaker vs Kurt Angle, that would be a kickass match and Rey Mysterio challenge and Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Championship that would have told a great David and Goliath story that would have Rey overcoming the World's Strongest Man to become the World Heavyweight Champion

You could have had Mark win the title here, having Undertaker cost Kurt the match and have Kurt vs Taker at Mania 22, with Henry vs Mysterio for the world title happening there too. Orton then could have faced Benoit for the US title, which could have had tons of story heading into it.

The booking for the road to wrestlemania in 2006(Rumble, No Way Out, and Wrestlemania) was probly just thrown together as best they could because it was only a couple of months after Batista, who was the World Heavyweight Champion at the time, got injured and was gone for a long long time, and Eddie Guerrero had just died. So two of there top main eventers were gone for that period of time.

This Show was not that good but the Rumble Match was OK. I did not like Rey Jr. getting pushed then because it was toooo obvious after Eddies death, i thought Rey deserved a push without it, him and Malenko mainly opened the doors for smaller guys. (see Daniel Bryan now) As for Mark Henry, Jeff my Black German Brother, i thought ok, now they push Mark as a Monster, but noooo what do you expect from the WWE?? Greetings to Ahmed Johnson..

This rumble had problems, such as the "Royal Rumble" not being in the Main Event, but instead, it's booked in the middle. Hello? The PPV is called "Royal Rumble". That would mean that the Royal Rumble battle royal match should be THE Main Event,All in all this is one of the worst/most disappointing PPVs I have ever seen. It just made me sick to my stomach. The Undertaker coming out at the end of the Angle Match was the only thing kept me from taking this tape out of the VCR and immediately setting it on fire at the time.

06 to me was not the time for Henry to win the title. To me the perfect time was when he turned Babyface in 2009 and beat Orton clean I thought that was the perfect time. I think Kurt Angle vs Undertaker should have main event WM 22

this show sucked imo. the under-card was bad. I enjoyed the Rumble and seeing Rey going from #1 to the end to win. and the stuff with Vince & Shawn was good. but the Rumble being in the middle of the card pissed me off. Edge/Cena sucked because of the booking. Edge says he would never be a transitional champion . . and was! pathetic. and the main event was okay. bad show.

I don't know what ya'll are talking about. I love this show! Ok, JBL vs. the Boogeyman THAT WAS BAD. I loved the backstage skits, HHH and Orton drawing their numbers, and everyone else....... But I do agree, why did they have the rumble match in the middle, I didn't like that. But the way the show closed, with Undertaker "collapsing" the ring, and Tazz yelling "Holy shit!" (uncensored) was a cool way to end the show. I loved the Rumble Match! HHH and Mysterio drawing 1 and 2 and BOTH lasting over an hour, only time that's ever happened..... Carlito made a fine debut, Chris Benoit lasted long AGAIN. Lots of guys lasting a long time, but not quite like 2009. We all knew Rey was winning, but I still enjoyed it as much as if I wouldn't have known.....

Who would Rey and Orton fight for the belt at Mania though? I think Henry vs Rey would be to un realistic. Cena vs Rey would be much better in my opinion but this was the time of Cena really being forced down our throats and they wanted Rey to have that feel good moment. Imo Rey should have never won that rumble and he should have just had a match against Benoit at Mania dedicated to Eddie.

Then the 2 main events at Wrestlemania shoulda been Taker vs Henry for the World Heavyweight Title & either Cena vs Mysterio or Cena vs Mysterio vs HHH for the WWE title. Dat woulda been a much bigger moment for Rey 2 win it ova those 2 guys than ova Angle & Orton. No offense 2 those guys.

Everything played out the way it was supposed to it wouldn't of worked if henry won the belt because rey randy and angle would have nothing to do and I doubt they still have the match with no title

Mark Henry can't always win besides he wasn't over as a monster at that time I was surprised they had him face taker at mania his biggest match well maybe not his biggest but they should've done Kurt vs taker at mania then henry defend against mysterious and Orton
