The US navy officer at 14:50 was Lt Suarez who was on an 18 month exchange in Walker Div. Can't help thinking that the RN guy who got to go and live in California for a year and a half got the better end of the deal!

Great stuff! I did this weekly for 19 years in the Royal Canadian Navy. Then switched to Air Branch for another 8 years. Air types only had Divisions once per month. That Vice Admiral should get his money back for his last haircut. Bravo Zulu.

Ahhhh.. That brings back a lot of memories.. I was Pellew ? In around June/ July 91. I was also in the Guard of Honnour. I remember a lot of those people. The female officer of the guard was also my divisional officer. I was in an intake I believe where they lumped all the odd balls together. A lot were later kicked out the navy for being lesbian or gay or taking drugs... lol! Me? I was a stoker and p.v.r ed... Went back to College and later ended up in the Merchant Navy as an Engineering Officer..
