Celebrating the 80th anniversary of an event to secure our way of life. Plus freedom for miliions, and now our Largest City is close to introducing sharia law, and has foreign signage at railway stations and other public buildings

My Son is a serving Royal Marine and doing that all day would be detrimental to the corp as they are not trained to be border guards they don't undergo 32 weeks of intense training being pushed both physically and mentally limits to gain that coveted green lid to turn back boats, granted that they keep the seas free from pirates (Africa to South America) and had accidentally ended up storming the wrong beach in Spain (should've been Gibraltar) but they're fighting men, who would prefer to fight not bob up and down the English coast fishing out migrants, that would be insulting to them as was the fiasco of not enough security for the 2012 London Olympics and our armed forces was called in and leave was cancelled, but when it came to London Bridge, they turned up full of pride for their Commander-in-Chief in her last journey to be with their former Captain General. My Son will fight for King and Country and as such they are above politics and will go where they need to go on the order of His Majesty's Government, if you still insist on using our armed forces to fish out migrants may I suggest the RAF, they don't seem to do much in between flying papers planes and moaning about accommodation and running away from any bootnecks 😆 💚

@@speakeasy5306 My comments got deleted. In my opinion it was the Red Army that defeated Germany, not the Americans or the British. The Red Army, due to location, size, climate and population, could have defeated Germany in their own. It would have taken years, but Russia would have done it. The Russian winter is a weapon than cannot be underestimated. Britain and America on their own couldn’t have done that.

@@T5Zplayer I am not trolling. I am pointing out an inconsistency in the headline. I have spent thirty years going on battlefield tours. At least three times to Normandy. I was raised by the airfield that Easy Company flew from on 6 June.
