    Nice video; enjoyed the Lo-Fi tracks. I just got the RK61 delivered a few days ago and I love the keyboard; it's my second mechanical keyboard (I have a full-size Razer Huntsman which friend gifted me). I'm looking to do my first basic mod with the RK61 so that I can get it less 'clicky/hollow' sounding and more clacky/thocky sounding. This tutorial is above my skill level, however it was an enjoyable and insightful watch.

    I am looking for a custom keyboard build and this is what I have so far, I came to you as your videos are really nice, and you are really underrated, any suggestions. Requirements: TKL or 65% ( Must have arrow Keys basically ) Must not have any odd colors, only black and white. Must be hot swapabble, I want to lube and tune switches and the stabliezers, and the entire keyboard. Must include a wrist rest. ( I wasn't using a wrist rest for the past 4 months, and I can feel tingly and burning in my hands already. ) Price range: 120- 170 U.S.D 200 maybe And that's all this is the list I have come up with: Rk68 or the YUNZII KC68 Akko WOB PBT keycaps Akko Vintage white switches Razer Wrist Rest

  • @swampwcat

    @swampwcat

    2 жыл бұрын

    Your list sounds very nice bro. I'm not familiar with YUNZII KC68, but I'm sure that RK68 is pretty worth for the price. For the budget keyboard I also recommend you Tester68/CIY68 (about $15-30) and TM680/LK67 (about $60-80). I bought those 2 boards but don't have time to mod them yet. For the switches, I don't have any Akko switches but it's quite famous budget switches. If you are looking for linear switches that KTT red wine (about $0.22/piece) would be another good chioce imo. It sounds so thock after some lubing. Here's the sound test: kzread.info/dash/bejne/l4iqkq6Sd9PLhMY.html And the keycaps yes Akko yes! People in my country make fun of Akko say that it's a keycaps company making good quality of keycaps but average level of keyboard haha. I hope it helps and enjoy your keyboard. :)
