What got me about Harry's comment making sure the Queen is "protected", was not so much the insinuation that she's not protected (complete nonsense), but that HE is the one to make that determination and HE is the one who can provide the proper level of protection. The guy mentioned to William if they could help raise money or resources needed for refugees, William's answer was along this line" I don't know about that but if we can come hear and give you a smile here and there that's enough." You see that's just the worst thing a anyone can say to people in a desperate situation, he could just have said "we'll see what we can do" but he is way too arrogant to lower himself to those standards. Harry attempted to see his Grandmother some time ago (at her invitation) and was blocked by the "grey suites" around her. He loves his grandmother. Harry’s odd comments didn’t even fit the questions he was being asked. It’s like he wanted to get those jabs in. The part about Diana being done “setting up” William and moving on to him is just utterly bizarre. Perhaps he now feels his mother’s touch from beyond the grave, but how would he know whether William still feels his mother’s spirit or not?

It is on public record Diana left Harry more millions in her will to set him up in private life latter, his father set him up with millions to start a new life in the USA (and he lied in an interview about that). How is lying in interviews for money about the media causing the accident that killed Diana an honourable deed? And by using her death, Diana is helping him 'set up'. His mother would be revolted.

Maybe they are taking away some of Harrys positions as Councillor to protect the Queen from his irrational behaviour.

*Sussex Global UK* If Royal Reporting was honest as opposed to writing things which ensure that they can put food on their tables the following month, it would be factual to state if Harry stepping back from senior Royal duties, causes the UK Monarchy to reach an end, then it says more about the lack luster, lack of competency, and zero charisma of the remaining Royals that will bring on its demise. One member of the family leaving a truly successful organization, would not cause it to fold. That one member who left with his family, is set for life already, with their contracts they have secured. Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex could have been such an asset to the Royals and would have ensured a few more decades of a UK Monarchy. Instead, fragile egos took over, and racism raised its head, and was encouraged throughout the country, and we are now where we are. Harry and Meghan and their Foundation are and will continue to do just fine. Archie and Lili have fabulous parents, and a wonderful legacy for them to carry forward later in life. The ship has indeed sailed. In fact, a whole flotilla of sea faring vessels representing Sussex business ventures are all sailing now.

Harry's asinine comments re protection for HMQE2 should be ignored by any sane person. HM is surrounded by her lovely family and cared for by family and staff ... HM lives in close proximity to Prince William, Princess Catherine and their children. Whatever Harry was implying by "right people" doesn't include himself and the retired unemployed actress (often mistakenly referred to as former "Hollywood movie star" -- NOT!!!)

The current public negativity around Harry and Meghan is more likely based on the fact they left the UK and then denigrated England in the Oprah interview, that they say they desperately need privacy and then seek endless publicity, that they have publicly disparaged the Royal Family but capitalize on their Royal Titles, etc. It's the duplicity I, amongst other, are reacting to.

what makes me laugh, he says he didn't want to be a prince etc... yet I remember Diana saying that William didn't want it and Harry saying he'll do it. Princess Margaret wasn't "forbidden" from marrying Townsend. But, she would have had to give up her Royal status and titles, and (at the time) not be able to marry in the Anglican Church. She chose not to do so. Her decision! She wanted to maintain her Princess lifestyle and connections to the Royal family.

They came to the UK for $$$$$. 🤑 They are in dire straits. Keeping his wife away from the queen would be a start as far as "keeping the wrong people around her." Haz has the habit of putting his foot in his mouth.

If they really had been invited to the Jubilee celebrations - they would be there with "bells on" and none of this "don't know yet" business. If Haz was truly worried about Her Majesty - his grandmother - he would visit more often. Happy birthday to Her Majesty.

Princess Anne's daughter WON her Olympic competition in recent past. Prince Phillip competed well up into senior years... Winning! Prince Charles & sons, all accomplished Polo players. The grandchildren ride.... & the Royal horses are all managed by the Queens program & her professional management team. Her race horses are winners & her breeding program is unparralled. He did not have the gall to say no so people who heard the interview by Hoda got the impression he doesn't care about his father nor brother, knowing they are better in helping the Queen than he. Lets see if they attend her Jubilee or have an excuse for not attending. Looks as if he didn't worry about protection during this visit going to film the Invictus Games. Happy birthday to the Queen. I believe if Harry actually cared about his grandmothers last years he wouldn’t make a spectacle of himself. His grandmother is his ticket to fame and wealth. He uses her at every opportunity just like he does with his mother…good PR.

Public reaction from the keyboard warriors is negative. Me? I like him and his wife. I just think it's sad that the family have fallen out so publicly. The whole affair has been handled badly on both sides.

@@laurad119 I am not a keyboard warrior. I am a reasoned person with morals. My view of him had been a very positive one and I had really high hopes as did the majority of the country when they married. The public trashing has been shameful along with the proven lies and manipation of the truth. He needs to focus on the positive things he is doing as when he starts lying and making digs at people, it takes away from the good he is doing. There are many sides to the story and somewhere in the middle, the truth. Unfortunately his grandmother, HMTQ, is getting hurt in all of this. Just my opinion, I respect yours.

I wanted to protect my granny so off i go 5000 miles away and every now and then pop for interviews and says her family is racist and she is a bad mother to my papa. I could always zoom to check up on her and perhaps send my mother's ghost to check up on her. Might he be on a verge of a breakdown?

Harry’s comments are telling of his own relationship regarding the Queen being protected and surrounded by the right people….sometimes people accuse others of the things that are actually happening to THEM. Wonder what that is all about, maybe his relationships in the USA?

I hope the queen actually gets to have a truly happy birthday. She’s been serving this world actively since her teens during World War II and she deserves to have a good day. Her grandson unfortunately is the most or one of the very most selfish people I guess we’ll ever run into. Had it not been for him I believe she would’ve made it to all of these events during this jubilee. Way to go Harry; We can’t all say we helped our grandmothers to an early grave.

When we trust that everything is Divinely orchestrated, we understand that everything has a purpose If you look at the bigger picture, Harry did what is serving the highest good of all, which is setting the very positive example that we need to do what is best for ourselves; not others. Placing blame is never healthy; especially when your scrutinizing the dynamics of a family in the public eye... ...a family of which no one in the general public has any idea about personally. If you think about it on a personal level, a grandparent wants their grandchildren to do what makes them happy. In an average family in which a grandchild fell in love and relocated to be with their spouse, would you think that was selfish? I wouldn't. I see it as opposite. He epitomized nobility by selfLESSly leaving his royal duties for the benefit of his children. If he was selfish, he wouldn't have gone out of his comfort zone by going home to see his grandmother; not even feeling secure about his safety or how he would be received. Yeah. I feel your calling him selfish was in haste and poor discernment. In his actions, words and sentiment I think he is the antithesis of selfishness.

Kathryn, I did read that the interview was heavily edited and Harry's minders, I mean staff, interrupted when anything was asked that was not on the listed agenda 🤔 It does appear disjointed at times and throughout H looks awkward and uncomfortable. Watch The Body Language Guy's take on this!

If you cannot say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I think a harry is saying BS things to the press. He knows his family loves the Queen. He should just be evasive and just says their relationship needs healing, but he loves them, and leave it at that.
