Really great review, I live in hills and do possess interceptor bs iv, was planning to change to super metor 650 but this video is really eye opener for me. Thanks a lot.

Interceptor 650 has been neglected by RE for 4 yrs now... no updates, nothing when even the Meteor 350 pricing even less has got accessories... this is heart breaking... I had to decor my Interceptor with 3rd party accessories.... I really hope they launch the alloys this year! ❤️

Very good comparison. Liked the bar end mirrors and led indicators on meteor. Its better to wait for next version of meteor. Most of the companies iron out the issues in second version.

Best video I have seen so far....no bakwaas just valuable crux....super host Great comparison...and every word said is right...and ohh yes I am a proud Supermeteor 650 owner which is my 5th Enfield....already having TBTS350, Classic 500, Machismo 500 and my lovely G2...

After spending around 4.50 lakhs the buyer has to pay an additional amount of ₹35 to 50K for small items like comfort Seats, Mud Guard, Mirrors, Oil Cap, Bar Ends, Back Rest etc. It should be a full package Bike for the customers.

@@talibkhurshidbudo9529 buddy if you are new to RE just go the showroom and test ride a classic 350cc .. You will never ever regret buying it. No maintenance .. Just drive safe and take care of bike and its services. My RE service cost me around 2k max .

On our roads, no doubt Interceptor takes the cake. Lesser weight, better ground clearance and good suspension for semi-broken roads and lower price. Also, the new version with alloy wheels is just around the corner.

Main concern is it’s suspension which I also observed in my test ride too. You covered all the aspect in your video

Its because of the ergonomics or rather the rider triangle which is the direct result of the motorcycle design. Also, having a softer suspension will definitely compromise its ground clearance on bad patches of roads. Cruisers are not touring bikes

Nice review, very minutely compared both the bike.

I am a interceptor owner (6K in 3 years), I had TB 350 before interceptor (14K in 7 years). Being a fan of the comfort offered on TBTS 350, I was waiting for Super Meteor 650. As interceptor is lovely, but it is super tugh to handle especially pull it back and forth फट जाती है 😅। But after looking at this review and some others, I think I should stick with Interceptor 650. Apart from handling and yes uncomfortable seat, everything else is lovely. Love the performance this beast gives. Thanks for the information.

Interceptor 650 onroad price in Maharashtra starts from 3.60 lakh to 4 lakh. If after market exhaust are fitted it would increase price by 20k for every model

I own a D400 and was planning for supermeteor as a gift for my father's retirement, but the stiff suspension is something im concerned about. Hopefully i'll wait till the user reviews are out or will just go ahead with int650.

What an awesome gift paaji! I bought the new blacked out Interceptor 650 with the alloy wheels. Before buying I test rode both Interceptor and Super Meteor extensively. Three things that made me go for the Interceptor: 1) Due to the cruiser format of the super meteor the rear shocks are very small due to which the travel is less and they are sprung hard. Even minor ripples on the road are felt on the back. 2) Compared to the Interceptor the super meteor is very heavy. This weight is felt when you need to move the vehicle with your own power. 3) Since the engine is a stressed member of the frame in Super Meteor, the vibrations are felt a little more than the Interceptor which has a double cradle chassis. I'm not saying it's bad but you can feel the difference when you ride the two bikes back to back. All the best to you and papaji! God Bless!

A very nicely done comparison. Super Meteor 650 vs Meteor 350 comparison could be very interesting as both are cruiser models. If one has decided on buying a cruiser, these are probably the top two options. It would be very interesting to see what additional benefits, if any, does the Super Meteor 350 has to offer compared to the Meteor 350. A video comparing the two would be welcome.

Interceptor is a Roadster not a cruiser.

Difference in ground clearance should be mentioned and there merits and demerits too.

I have a beautiful journey with Int650 and still going on.

which bike has a comfortable seating posture? as I dont like the sports bike posture. earlier used pulsar 180, but the riding experience on pulsar after 2-3 hours of riding used to be dead legs. is it the same with interceptor? u rightly said that 30-40k is not a deal breaker; lookwise i like SM650 cruiser/tourer version. However am not a tourer , as never been to any place on bike uptill now - just my childhood fantasy that someday will do it....kindly suggest which one should i go for?

The SM650 is a more comfortable bike overall but your tailbone and spine suffers in the long run. Interceptor on the other hand puts pressure on your knees rather than the back. However, no matter how sporty the Interceptor looks; I find it more comfortable overall than the SM650. Also, the alloy wheels update has made the INT even a better package than before.

I m gonna going to Book this supermeteor , But due to low ground clearance and stiff suspension, I have choosen interceptor 😀

Please share any updates regarding new BS6 emission norms in interceptor 650 , for example alloy wheels, new colours and any other changes.. Also, which one is better amongst the two when it comes to city traffic???

Main query meri hai ki SM650 ka fuel guage kitna accurate hai ? I am asking because mere paas hunter350 hai but its fuel guage is very inaccurate. Company mein puchha to kehte hai ki fuel pump ki position ki wajah se aisa hota hai. To matlab ye hua ki it is just a gimmick ! Isse to bullet350 achhi hai meri. Atleast uss mein pata to chalta hai bina fuel guage ke, that your bike is in reserve mode now.

I have booked my INT 650 last Monday with (60 Days of waiting) Then I came across an article on Royal Enfield Interceptor, Continental GT 650 to get alloy wheels soon After reading this article I called the RE showroom to check whether they have any News on this They straight away denied it as they don’t have any News on this I am pretty confused Please help should i cancel and wait for the new updated one

As you saw in the video, I myself own the INT 650. So, by default, I'm excited and hopeful about the alloys. However, the news of alloy wheels can't be confirmed until anything officially pops up. For now, all we know that RE has developed alloys but the possibility of their launch relies only after RDE norms become active i.e. April'23.

No, it doesn't scraped anywhere during our tests. This is primarily due to it's stiff suspension setup.

No. Tyre size is different of both models. However, there are rumours that Royal Enfield is soon going to launch alloy wheels for Interceptor 650.

It'll be a not so happy place for pillion to sit with both legs on one side. It is due to the upswept exhaust cans. The rear footpegs are a tad high-set and hence it becomes difficult for the pillion to adjust their legs.

Interceptor looks like Yamaha rx 100. Takes time to differentiate while riding on road
