Like you, my Meteor had that earlier cat fitted. I’ve replaced my whole exhaust system with the Hitchcocks stainless steel free flow system., I’ve also fitted the DNA filter and air intake and FuelX lite. My throttle response is crisp throughout the rev range, the engine runs cooler, fuel economy is slightly better, and it sounds gorgeous! The standard down pipe is quite heavy on the standard system too. The Hitchcocks exhaust is 4 and a half kilos lighter!

Does sound a lot better and saved a load of weight I’d take the CAT to moonrakers and show them

Hello Andy. Just wanted to say thanks, I’m enjoying your videos. Also wanted to ask about the headlight peak you fitted to Bella. Does it improve the headlight coverage at all or is it just ‘cosmetic’? How does it attach to the headlight? (I can’t see from the online store pictures), just wondering how secure it would be, as they are quite expensive! Keep safe & thanks in anticipation 👍

The headlight peak is a great asset to bella it came from hitchcocks it fits the interceptor aswell as the bullit 500 350 theres more light on the road solo moto uk gave me the peak it was on his interceptor 650 chears for the interest about bella ride safe john thank you for the msg

I went with the RedRooster from India. If you take a flashlight and look down in the front inlet of the cat pipe you'll swear it'll never be on the bike again. 😎

Personally I think the red rooster is a better design in regards to the main stand, how did you find it when you fitted it?

@@theadventuresofbellatheenf4627 actually you don't, the mot on motorcycles does not include the emissions, as stated here-: What is not checked in a motorcycle MOT? The engine and gearbox are not checked, although your tester will fire the bike up and if it sounds seriously unhealthy, they may question this. Also, the bike’s emissions are not checked.

I'm guessing you went with the hickcocks decat pipe, watching the first few minutes of your video I noticed the main stand, this is what I simply don't understand with hickcocks, they make a pipe but force the removal of the main stand, and the extra expense of buying their own one to replace it, when red rooster exhaust from India uses a simple angle bracket to mount the rubber from the original cat and holds the stand! Simple, elegant and effective, I don't understand why hickcocks chose that idea 🤷🏻‍♂️ well unless it's a money grab 💷💷💷

I did get the hitchcocks pipe i want to keep the end can really like the style the comes as stock keeping her as she should look the cats getting rust treated and a respray put up and used for the mot i looked at red roasta pipes and really didnt like what i see for the price

I'm assuming you did the 12 - 15 minute idle after swapping the pipe to allow the ecu to recalibrate?

£163! You could have bought the red rooster cheaper, well maybe around the same after tax, but still all the extra fuss for removing and refitting the stand 😕
