Hello, I had seen your engine oil recommendation video, I too want to use V300. I want to make sure did you use Liquid Gun engine oil or replace with V300 at service Center. Also does RE replace engine oil at second service ?

Overall video is good. The only thing which seemed wrong is that 1st they cleaned & lubricated the chain and then washed the bike.

Sir meteor has FI system hence once you detach the cables the fuel does not runs out and also there is a electric coupler for fuel pump that needs to be removed

Sir you can ask them to put but incase they deny then get the service done from them and then drain the oil and put motul from outside privatelyand see the wonderful performance of the bike as expected .

Yes buddy vehicle is now loaded with V 300 will drive a few 100 kms before i give the actual review of the oil

Yes i can understand but you have paid for engine oil and if they have mentioned it in your bill they have to pay tax for it and Royal Enfield as well..i mean why would the bear for tax if the haven’t charged for engine oil?

What is the proper way off stopping the bike and switch off the engine? Is it turning off the engine kill switch then turning off the ignition key? Or Turning off the ignition key first then turning off the engine kill switch?

Yes it should be adjusted in the first service as it is recommended by RE in the user manual as well.

Sir, Yesterday I got my bike 1st free service done, what I found that they have not performed all the work what you have shown about first service, even no service advisor has told about it. They have done all servicing within 30 to 45 minutes. I was not present at the time of service. I had to go somewhere for 30 to 45 min. when I came back I saw my bike is ready. How would I know that they have performed the complete work ? The servicing time they have taken it doesn't seems that they have performed complete work and skip some work. Where can I complain and get my servicing work checked ? Though I complain about it but service manager it not responding properly.

Brother please call RE customer care on 1800 210 0007 or email on support@royalenfield.com and launch a complaint against the dealer and ensure that unless the work is not done do not let them close the complaint ticket.

Brother is practically not possible as oil can only be drained completely once the engine chamber is opeaned .

Hi Bhayya, after first service @500km. Do we have to get bike serviced at 2500 km. Showroom suggests to get second service at 5000 km

Guys... It's not required to open head for tappet settings... For no reason they r opening head n making settings... I hav checked with royal Enfield owned service center they are not practicing this... I really don't understand why they want to open head when users r not having any issues... Even I hav checked with customer support even they confirmed me it's not required.... They have opened head for my metor n m not happy for that... It will change ur bikes thumb.... Original setting from company is very well adjusted then y u want to open it for no reason... Guys I request you to check user manual n also check with customer support n confirm it if this is the standard procedure what they r following..... Ask service guy to show you if it is anywhere mentioned in user manual.... M not happy for this .... Guys I request you to double check it once ... When I checked with companies owned service center they confirmed me three things which they are following... Oil change, general check up (head not included) nut n bolt, head lamps, indicator etc.. n chain loop... Apart from this if we have any other complaints... Think over it guys n do the needful to bike...

Ashish ji thank you for the feedback , however tappet adjustment is as per the schedule of Meteor 350 Manual check the service booklet and you will see required setting and the period as to when it should be done attaching the meteor 350 manual for your reference and the page number to be looked is PAGE 155 , POINT no 4 . Drive in economical range , dont go for hard acceleration and hard breaking , use good engine oil and always use fel additives . these will inturn help in a lot of savings

brother aapko object karna chahiye tha ki you will get bike washed after service and nut bolt tight karevana zaroori hai as agar zyada dheele ho gaye to problem ho jaayegi.

Okay so I own Meteor 350 for which I paid 2.75 lakhs INR and rode it for around 500 km and it was time for 1st service. I went to Klasik Motors for my 1st service. They gave me a job card and told me that it would cost you around 1870 rupees. And told me to come in the evening. But I went to the service centre earlier and saw that they just did a general service to the bike and kept it for washing. I called the service mechanic and rudely asked him did he adjust the Tappet. He started acting weird, later I came to know that they have charged me 930 rs for service kit and didn’t do any of that work. I fought with the service manager and told him about all these. He took all these very normally and told the mechanic to bring back the bike from washing and adjust the Tappet and install gas kit etc. Later I came to know that these people never install service kit or adjust Tappet to any 1st service bikes and are just charging money for it. After seeing all these I lost all my faith in ROYAL ENFIELD as a brand. Though bikes are good but service is very very poor. And they don’t even allow the customers to see the service of their bike.
