Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Brake Pads Upgrade (EBC FA209/2HH & FA213V)

New Brake Pads:
Front - EBC FA209/2HH (amzn.to/4bz8OFf)
Rear - EBC FA213V (amzn.to/4ajEfCi)
Tools Needed:
- 13mm socket (amzn.to/4bCDZzD)
- Torque Wrench (33ft-lbs or 45NM) (amzn.to/4dyQAFL)
- Loctite Threadlocker Blue (amzn.to/4bdNBkw)
- Brake Parts Cleaner (amzn.to/3yhCtEH)
- Allen Key or Punch (amzn.to/3JXHbtD)
- Shop Towels (amzn.to/3wuqnrg)

Steps:
Front
1. Unclip ABS sensor cable
2. Remove 13mm bolts
3. Remove caliper from disk
4. Take out R pin at bottom of caliper
5. Punch out guide pin with allen key
6. Slide out and remove brake pads
7. Clean caliper and disk with brake cleaner and rag
8. Insert new pads into caliper and install guide pin
9. Install R pin
10. Slide caliper onto disk
11. Apply Loctite onto bolts and install
12. Torque each both to 33ft-lbs (45NM)
13. Clip ABS sensor cable back
Rear
1. Remove R pin at top of the caliper
2. Punch out guide rod
3. Slide pads out of caliper
4. Remove metal brackets from OE pads
5. Install metal brackets on new pads
6. Clean disk with brake cleaner and rag
7. Slide new pads into caliper
8. Align pads and insert guide rod
9. Install R pin
Ride around the block and check if pads are seated property

    Nice one Alex, I have just upgraded mine as well it really makes a difference, my rear break was nearly non existent. Also do a front suspension upgrade and rear socks upgrade. I put YSS on both front and rear and again what a difference. Ride safe man!

    Thanks for the comment! The new pads are just so much better than the stock ones! I’m considering a suspension upgrade as well! Next upgrade/video will be the Venhill Featherlight clutch cable.

    Nice video, we don't get that metal plates in rear pads here in india or they might be giving them in lastest manufactured ones. Btw didn't you need to do ABS error clean with diagnosis tool? Generally Twin650 shoots up ABS error when we push pistons by hands so you need to clear that error
