on my BS4 2019 Modell had the same issue draining the batterie, dead after 4 days. So i got me a original power cutout key switch from Royal Enfield for a bullet 350 and connected it to the - pole .So no drain anymore. Only issue is the clock always sits on 12am when I switch the power on. Bike can sit now for 2 weeks and fires up directly.

My 2021 Himalayan with it's OEM battery will start after 2 weeks OK, and on a good day 3 weeks of no use. I found as have others, that aftermarket USB power ports add a small parasitic drain. On a related note, if the battery does drain too low to start, modern auto charges may not charge the battery, as it gets detected as a 6 volt battery. Just boost the battery from another vehicle or old school 12 volt charger and then the auto charger will detect it as a 12 volt battery.

I have a 2021 here in the states and I also have battery discharging/dead after about 5 days without riding. I took it to my dealer and he says there is no problem with the electrical system. I told them that I had just recharged the battery, but my dealer is crap.....I only have 1100 miles on it and I have found an independent dealer that is taking a look and isn't afraid to search the net for proof of a problem....

Yes It seems their go to answer is we don`t have problems . Mine has had the Enfield mod and now I am not detecting any drain . My Indian freind at work said " oh yes Royal Enfield are very bad at customer service " I wish he had said before I bought one !

@@xfire7 My dealer here in Las Vegas is a EuroCycle dealer...they specialize in BMW, Triumph, Ducati, MotoGuzzi etc....they are arrogant asses....What is the Enfield Mod?.....I am not mechanical at all and I would have my independent service guy do it..... love the bike but this problem is ruining it...

They did some sort of modification to the wiring loom. They were not forthcoming with any details or the modified diagram , merely saying that it was to the regulator/rectifier sub loom . I would have to pull it all apart to see and will probably do so but not now as I need it for work . They have either routed the red dc out wire through the ignition switch circuit or put it through a normally open relay that's operated by a switched live circuit .

Unfortunately yes 😕 They told me there is nothing wrong , it's normal drain . On top of that I had two tyre faults , which they also washed their hands of , I had to go to Pirelli. They were good and gave me a refund . In the end on the constant visits , phone calls and emails finally got to me and I snapped , out of utter frustration I told them what an utter useless bunch they are . I'm banned from the shop . I've ordered a new reg/rec which I'll fit myself. It should arrive in a week , then I'll make a further video then .

@@xfire7 you know you changing something doesn't invalidate the warranty. If you use genuine spares they would have to prove that what you did caused the failure to the part. You can even service and keep the receipts and data. As long as you do anything within the correct process they have no recourse and cannot deny warranty. If your dealer is saying so he is breaking the law. I service and repair all my own bikes and claim warranty parts when required thru MotoGB and they are sent to a local dealer.
