The FuelX works mostly in the low to midrange areas and smooths the fuel delivery and keeps the engine cooler. It’s not for top speed.

Would the fuel x and filter enable the bike to run the larger 16 tooth front sprocket that's available? That might give you the higher top speed you're looking for.

My Classic 350 is running with 2.8 L/100km. I think 4Liters is maybe a bit too much.

The air fuel mixture is richer with the Fuel X, maybe thats why the fuel consumption is higher. The engine should run cooler.

This means if you use only the tuning filter without the Fuel X the engine can get to hot.

You can't do a speed test in strong wind, because of course wind has a huge impact on speed (and fuel consumption). Just take a bicycle ride on a windy day and you will see.😊

Hi Marc, Danke für Deinen erneuten Filmbeitrag zur Classic 350, dessen Resultat ja eher ernüchternd ausfällt. Man muss ganz klar sagen, dass a) die Classic 350 NICHT wirklich für Autobahnen sowie große Bundesstraßen geeignet ist und b) ein Verbrauch von 4L vollkommen indiskutabel ist (für den Hubraum bzw die Leistung). Zudem wirkt der Motor bei 100 km/h aufwärts eher sehr gequält, am "gesündesten" wirkt er bei 80 - 90 km/h. Es kommt ganz auf den Einsatzzweck an, als "Erstmotorrad" wäre mir die 350er definitiv nicht geeignet. Auch wenn sie nach wie vor optisch wunderschön da steht. Gruß aus M'Gladbach, Michi

Hi Michi, da gebe ich dir recht, am wohlsten fühle ich mich auf der Royal Enfield bei 80 km/h. Für die Autobahn ist sie nicht wirklich geeignet, aber die Optik ist super und ein Hingucker :-)

Wir sind über Pfingsten zu zweit mit 20kg Gepäck über die Autobahn von Wien nach Krk gefahren, keine Probleme. Der Motor hat jetzt 18.000km im ersten Jahr hinter sich, er macht immer noch Spaß.

Wont matter what you do as far as top speed goes its electronically limited by the ecu lol!. Brazilian versions are unlimited also a few of the new bullets have came through with them fitted if you dont believe me see mcn review there bullet went 80mph down a slight hill flat on the tank.

Hi Marc, was mir gerade noch bezüglich Deinem Kraftstoffverbrauch nebst Topspeed einfällt: Du hast doch andere Reifen, die Heidenau K60 montiert. Diese sind ja recht grob und haben einen deutlich höheren Rollwiderstand. Und genau das wirkt sich auch auf die genannten Kriterien aus. Z.B bei meiner Super Téneré macht die Reifenwahl durchaus nen halben Liter / 100km aus. Gruß aus M'Gladbach, Michi

Hi Marc. Interesting video but I would suggest to do the same with ISA conditions (15 Celsius). You mentioned that the outside temperature was 5 Celsius, which means that the engine needs to be fed with extra fuel. So, when the weather gets better, try to do the same. Regards, Dimitris ❤👍

@@Marc.Stones yeap, you should because all measurements above are not accurate. Also, there was a lot of headwind during the ride.

My Classic 350 is running with 2.5L/100km as riding under ECO mode inside City and around highway.

I haven’t found anyone that has also plugged in a Obd2 scanner, everyone just test rides. I want to see the short term fuel change with each setting. How about it.

About the higher fuel consumption: my Vespa rises noticeably fuel consumption if ridden below + 10 C temperatures. That could also be one reason for the higher consumption for the Royal?!? I have not had a chance to test with RE 350 since our winter came in so suddenly.

Is this fuelx lite, or pro, or pro+? seems like its lite as I cant see the switch...

I think a waste of time on these bikes. They are all electronically speed limited anyway. A camshaft change makes them only a little faster to accelerate.

Die Halterung ist eine Ram mount. Filter benutze ich nur manchmal einen ND 32

It is obvious that the little Enfield does not have much power!

that was so poor top speed. 125 cc scooter even faster than this on flat. for 350 cc chain motorcycle..that engine is very weak running

Replace your front sprocket to 16 teeth you will get a better top speed
