Royal Enfield Bullet Watsonian 500T 'After' test ride 2 with raised needle & improved clutch action.
The previous 'After' test ride showed a fair improvement over how this machine performed in the 'Before' clip, but I felt the clutch still needed improvement and I wanted to try raising the throttle slide needle in the carb and with these attended to, obviously I needed to take another test ride. So, finally, we took the 15 mile loop I intended to take last time and there was no other traffic to hold things up. There was, however some rain, but that's only to be expected in summer, in Wales! The clutch is not perfect, but much improved and the performance is dramatically improved.

Goes and sounds really nice. So now we all want one.
Nice to see Millie too. Sounds good.
I can tell that you fattened the mixture up! She’s got strong bark & pull!👍
Much more sprightly after the work that you've done. Nice job.

One of very few cars of interest to me there. Citroen Diane. Air cooled boxer beast. 😂

Dyane? I looked it up, cute car. Beast? Well…
G'day Paul, your done a great job on the Royal Enfield Bullet, selecting neutral sometimes can be tricky on my bike, most times good sometimes forget it untill stopped, all in all not a big issue, the owner will still be pleased with the increased performance, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.

Well done Paul, it sounds like a different bike now, runs evenly and pulls strongly. Was wondering about those cheap trails tyres that the bike came with (bad reviews on wet roads) but you didn't seem to have any problems with them. Can't wait to ride it home (after we've exchanged pound notes of course) 🙂. Thanks for all your efforts (the owner)

bang on Paul not bag cheers
I always felt the early bullets needed a 5 speed, but not this one ! Thanks Paul.
Good job, Paul. That's a really willing bike now, which I'm sure the owner will enjoy.
My bike was similar for finding 1st, had good and bad days but then you have to wonder why they fitted a neutral finder.
I grew up when it was Hentchmen and Triumph choppers, now it's Outlaws and Harvey's, I miss this sound.

I'm not really a Royal Enfield fan, but that is a handsome machine. Good work Paul. Great video thanks.

Yes, it holds my camera on. kzread.info/dash/bejne/oZ952qqSlLCro5c.html
How does that compare with the '55 on that same run? I was wondering what it was for. It seems well happy on those twisty main(ish) roads despite its trials looks..

The '55 Bullet would drag this one backwards - it is much more torquey and powerful than this one and it is in a standard state of tune. The gearing is similar on both, too.
hi Paul sounds bag on top job again think Dom needs your help to get his triumph tiger 90 to run like this one have you seen him on youtube?

No problem, although that saddle made things look a bit bouncy, as it happens!
The cat didn’t seem impressed.
