Off on P&O Iona on 29 June to the fjords with our daughter and 2 grandchildren. Our 1sr P&O cruise but we have cruised with Cunard about 10 time including the fjords in 2019. We have traveled to many places over the years, I’m 74 my husband 80yrs but the beauty of the fjords literally took my breath away and made me cry. We went in May when the snow was still everywhere, you will love your cruise . I love all your vlogs and thank you xxx

Cruising is addictive..I’ve done a few on my own and all different in terms of ship lines and itineraries..yes the ducks can be a thing on some lines…looks like you had a fabulous time😊

I’ve just got back from Norway on Britannia - vlogs coming from this weekend. I also did Iona 2 years ago if you want to check them out 😊

Iona is my favourite ship, you'll have a fab time! Top tip, book Sindhu for the first night onboard and you'll get a 20% discount off your bill at the end. Get the trio of meats lobster, beef and I think pork, devine, and not too spicy.

Can I just ask a random question, is there a doctor on the ship?

All ships have doctors, they do charge for consultations and treatment which you can claim back on your insurance. There are also nurses for minor issues. If you need to go ashore for major issues they will either divert the ship to the nearest port or helicopter/air rescue. It is mandatory to take out medical insurance and your cover should be for £1-£5 million which each ship will insist on. Diverting a ship or air rescue is very expensive so make sure you get the appropriate cover. When you take out travel insurance make sure you are covered for cruises. Hope this helps. 😊
