So glad I found this tour. I’ve watched many videos in preparation for our 2/25 cruise for my 60th BD. 1st time on RCCL and we are looking forward to a funfilled week. We have an extended ocean view deck on 8 and I asked the TA if there was an entrance from the hall & she said no. Super glad you pointed that out that little shortcut. Saving this so I can watch again. Yes, I liked & subscribed. lol

We have been on Harmony twice 12/16 & 12/23. We are booked again for 6/24. Great ship. So far, Symphony is our favorite Oasis class ship. I see no sense in having a pool in the Solarium. Allure has one, and it's really not a pool. It's just a water puddle for people to stand around and drink their booze. There is no room for anyone who actually wants to enjoy a pool . I normally stay out of the pools on a ship because all I can think about is all the drinkers peeing in the water. Great video .

Thanks so much for watching!! We really appreciate your support!! The “pool” located in any solarium is strictly a “conversation pool!” It’s pretty much a place to stay cool while you’re meeting other passengers. We hope your next cruises will be your best ever!!

Leaving Sunday, 3/3/24, and love having a better idea of how to navigate the ship from our cabin, to main areas like dining, bars, entertainment, etc. Video is well done!

Hi, I just made a reservation on this ship for January 2025 after watching this video…the ship look amazing! Our ports of call will be Roatan, Puerto Costa Maya and Cozumel. What would you recommend to do once we get there? Are there possibilities to explore or we are stuck with RC Shore excursions? Consider that we come from Italy and we will spend 10 days in the US before the cruise so we would avoid expensive shore excursions unless necessary. Thank you!

Thanks so much for watching! For Roatan, I would recommend an excursion, since you don’t know your way around there and many areas are sketchy. For Cozumel, I personally would recommend renting a jeep on your own and driving around the island, it’s very easy to do and they will give you maps. Close to Maya is my absolute favorite Caribbean port… You’ll want to go to the local beach, Mahahual Beach where there is great food, massages on the beach and shopping. The taxi to the beach is four dollars per person each way. We actually like to walk to Costa Maya, it’s not quite 3 miles each way. We are actually working on a video now showing how to do it, so keep your eye out for that.

Voyager was my first and we went to Cozumel, and while there, we saw Harmony. She was my first Oasis class I've seen in person and I actually get to go on her in December

Absolutely!! Thanks for asking! The beach is named Mahahual Beach. There is shopping all over there along with restaurants, mainly the Krazy Lobster. There are massage tables pretty much all over the beach. The best price is $20/hour. Some will be a little higher but you can find the $20 if you look or insist on the price. A taxi will cost you $4 per person one way.

Hi! They are all comped thru the casino. We are actually working on a video now to show how we do this, stay tuned as it will appear in the next couple of weeks.

Nice tour👍 Promanade Cafe has free regular coffee in the large carafes. Johnny Rockets has free breakfast in the morning. On the jogging track, at the big seat area....is it smoking? Does deck 9 elevator foyer, at the Central Park, have the secret door that has a balcony that overlooks Central Park? Central Park cafe is our favorite boarding day eatery.

Not dumb questions at all! The maps are outside of each elevator, and there are restrooms everywhere (thankfully). I grew up on ships, so those terms are easy for me, but you are correct, aft is back and forward is front, starboard is right and port is left

If you’re talking about the ship itself, the Harmony is 1,188 feet long and the Liberty is 1,112 feet long. Passenger wise the Harmony holds 5,479 and the Liberty holds 4,960. Thanks so much!!

We will be going there again next week but I will tell you that they have recently changed their prices but they can still be negotiated down to $20 an hour. Even if they come down to $30 an hour still a good deal. Those $20 or $30 massages are all up and down the beach. Thank you so much for watching the video.

I realize you might not know where they are to be found. Leave the terminal and either a walk 3 miles or grab a taxi to the local beach called Mahahual Beach. They are all up and down the beach along with great restaurants and shopping.

I can’t remember exactly what we said about the massages on the beach in the video, they are located at the local beach called Mahahual beach. You can walk there or take a taxi for $4 per person each way. The walk is 3 miles. They are all up and down the beach and the prices have recently gone up to about $30 per hour, still a great deal!

Hey guys!! Thanks SO much for commenting!! Great question!! We are pretty much retired! I do still work online on the ship pertaining to our investments. However, we don’t have a lot of bills because of us living on the ship…. No food, utilities, property taxes, etc. But I’m able to meet our monetary needs investing online. Our largest bill per year are port fees and taxes. We really hope your Harmony cruise is the best ever!!

Great question about tipping! Tips are automatically added to your account daily, $16.50 per day per person unless you have a suite then it’s $18.50 per person daily. If you wish to tip more as you go you’re more than welcome to bring cash and tip extra

It’s such a great ship

Loved the video!! We will be on her for my birthday the end of February 24. It will be our first large ship. I didn’t see a bar area that is inside (air condition) that you can see out at the water. My husband’s favorite place to hang out when we are cruising. We are not up to the deck 17 status yet. 😀. Can you tell me if there is an area that he may like?

In my opinion, that is one of the biggest flaws of these ships. They forgot to show us the ocean, which is why we are on a cruise to begin with! I would suggest checking out the Wonderland bar, at least you can see deck six where the aqua theater is

Which beach offers the $20 in Costa Maya?

Mahahual Beach is the name of the beach. The massages are all up and down the beach. You could encounter some massage girls giving you a higher price, but hold to your guns and either insist on the $20 or find another until you get the $20. That’s what the price is supposed to be but naturally you’re going to find some that will try to jack the price up. It’s rather easy to find the $20 people. Also make sure they know it’s $20 per HOUR. Not 30,40,or 50 minutes. The beach is a short taxi ride from the port. It’ll be $4/person to get there by taxi.
