Royal Caribbean - Ovation of the Seas 21 January 2024. This month I head on board Ovation of the Seas for an 8 night cruise to Hobart and Adelaide (well just to check out the ship tbh). That was a nice solo cabin! Great view and balcony size to boot! We love Quantum class ships. Our first cruise was last year on Quantum, then Edge (yuk) then we're on Quantum again Feb 2025 and Voyager Feb 2026. Inching for something in between! We LOVED the solarium too! SO great away from kids - ate at solarium bistro for breakie - windjammer was rammed most mornings.
We sailed on the Xmas/New year cruise 23/12-02/01 and always had breakfast at the solarium bistro. The Windjammer is crazy busy. Great video, thank you

Very welcome and glad you liked it. Yes this particular Windjammer with the passenger mix was horrendous. Seriously Hated it. Bistro. Brilliant! MDR Brilliant. Just stay clear of the madness!

When it comes to embarkation day. Would you say it’s best to get an early or later check in time?

Go as early as you can. Even if you book 11;30 go at 11

Sorry for the questions lol but would 11:30 be the earliest time slot? We were either going to try to board early or last minute to take advantage of a late check out with the pre-cruise hotel nearby.

I could listen to your accent all day. Nice video, thank you. I had to laugh at the mother with two kids in the “*adult only” area. We enjoyed the majority of our meals in the solarium bistro.
