I eat breakfast burritos almost every morning in Park Cafe with loads of salsa and guacamole.....I also eat the omelet in the MDR. Very good!!!!! Thank you for your videos!!!!!

Joann and David love your videos and thanks for your experience with RCL MDR for Breakfast. I have yet to do a MDR breakfast, I need to try it one day as Windjammer is so packed and chaotic. Solarium Bistro on the newer ship is nice as I just need the basic items for Breakfast. One thing you might want to post is overall time and experience. Noticed new RCL MDR Dinner menu seems to keep time down, but do miss classics every night.

Our pleasure- thank you very much for the comment! 😊 Yeah MDR breakfast is less hectic, though overall the Windjammer or Solarium Bistro could be faster if you're in a hurry. For this one we did have to wait a little less than 10 minutes to go in at around 9:40 AM during a sea day, and the food came out a little over 10 minutes after ordering which was really quick.

It all looks scrumptious!

Great information on the main dining room breakfast options! I will be on board Explorer of the Seas in January for my first cruise, and your videos make me feel I can choose dining options wisely.

It probably depends- they’ll probably do minor changes to a dish on a menu, but likely not make something not on the menu. Though it doesn’t hurt to ask.

I always enjoy your videos and the descriptions of the food onboard. Got home last week from my 9-nt Mediterranean cruise on Celebrity Reflection. I thought the main dining room did a good job with dinner, the buffet was suitable for me for breakfast and the Mast Grill served some pretty decent burgers. My only complaint was room service breakfast that failed to arrive before I had to leave for an early morning excursion. I am already thinking of where to go next!

Thank you very much! 😊 Sounded like a nice cruise, but sorry to hear about that room service debacle- hope they refunded the fee. Yeah overall despite the crowd, the buffet is usually the best bet to get some breakfast before an early morning excursion.

Is the breakfast menu same every day? Thanks for the video. Last time we cruised (2019) the MDR breakfast was like a buffet, if I remember correctly.

You bet! It is the same menu daily. Their MDR lunch had a little buffet in addition tot he menu in the past, but no longer after the pandemic.

Yup all the food is free other than those at specialty restaurants. Have a wonderful time!

You sure can at 10 minutes before, and no you don't have to leave by closing. We know because many times we left after closing and there were still others finishing up or just chatting.

Ok, hear me out....only psychopaths eat a bagel with a knife and fork. Pick that thing up!

MDR food sucked. Youre better off eating at the buffet so you can get what you really like and as much as you like. MDR portions are small and the cold food was warm and the hot food was cold.

These cruise ships are nothing more than floating overcrowded malls. Just horrible.
