I think you mean the happy dance that Nick did which he does many times when we are about to board a plane or cruise ship. It comes from watching Kara and Nate travel vlogs, Kara does that little dance when she's getting on a plane. 👍 💃

Love all the vlogs. This florida and cruise series is getting me through long days at my desk!

Thanks for the video it brought back memories, about 10 years ago we did a 14 day cruise around the Mediterranean on that ship we sailed from Southampton and it was a lot more than $ 210.00 lol

Had a great time on Indie down to the Canaries. We had a good deal for a Junior suite...food fantastic, Olive & Twist is a nice bar plus of course the Schooner bar.

I've cruised a few times on Independence when she sailed from Southampton and once had the exact same room you have :)

We also have done Independence of the seas and the Disney Dream, enjoyed them both!

Great vlog, Loved the ice skating!

Hi Guys, just wondering how you booked your cruise. Was it on RC website or through an agent whist you were in Florida? We book in the UK on the RC website but if it"s cheaper to do it out there in Florida, that would be better.

That cruise ship looks stunning inside, it's very swish and posh. It was so lovely to see you all having a good old sing song together. Nick your ice skating skills weren't too shabby considering you hadn't skated before, well done. I would have spent more time on my bottom than my feet,that's for sure! 💙💙 xx

What an exciting day. After all the issues with the testing that'd unacceptable the way they were as a company 😞 getting on the ship seeing the different areas its amazing. The ice skating was good and looked alot of fun. U wouldn't think u were on a ship

😂 when I was 18 I was ice skating and fell over , a friend accidentally skated over my wrist , needless to say it broke ! So I don’t blame you ! When it gets cold my wrist hurts ( I’m 61 so it happened a long time ago 😂)

Good 👍 on the skating Nick! As a Canadian well versed in skating it is very difficult in the beginning. Your shins must of hurt the next days.

We have been dying to go on a royal carribean cruise. Hopefully next year now. Do you recommend booking over in the US then??? Rather than here?? Seems you got a right bargain ❤ Can't wait to see the rest if your adventures x

I’m interested in what viva is, we’re From the UK and not heard of Viva and as we are planning on snowbirding down to florida next winter, it seems a good opportunity to do more cruises. Thank you.

Having never been on a cruise ship, I can’t speak to any of them, but I can say that I tried ice-skating once when I was in high school. I could barely even stand up on the skates. I finally managed to get on the rink, went around once, holding the side the whole time, got out, and have never tried again. It’s amazing to me that people can do it because it was impossibly difficult to me.

How did you get this cruise so cheap guys?

Andy and I in bed watching this as had an early night as didn’t sleep on the flight home. Really cheered us up as arrived back to such a miserable day. Really told the tale of the fist day in the ship. How many people get to watch a rocket go into space from the back of their ship and have such a fun group of people to spend ti with, xx❤️❤️

That song you didn’t think you knew was called “Jack and Diane” by John Cougar Mellencamp. I bet if you listen to it by him you guys will remember it. The piano version made it sound very different. I have to say that I’ve never really wanted to go on a cruise until now. You guys made it look like so much fun!

Haven’t been ice skating for years, you intrigue me to try so many things I’d forgotten about! Well done Nick I’d go with 2 starters if the option was there. no travelling from a cruise port you need to show your esta or visa for your return that's before you even sail

@@TheLodgeGuys Thankyou, I booked my cruise with a USA site called Vacations to go, great prices, got a balcony for £300 each, also we upgraded to the drinks package, I saw you didn't get a deal :( so im glad I didnt listen to my husband and wait until we were boarding Lol, im new to your vlogs and love you guys, enjoy your trip:)

Yesss totally love the Independence - its a smaller ship compared to Royal’s huge ones but soooo much to do! The escape room is so fun and at $20 per person its a steal. Ice skating at sea is always a great time (unless you fall haha) Look forward to this part of your vacay, wondering if you guys did the flowrider and if you did the huge trampoline in the back of the ship!
