I love your pieces. I am newer to your channel so you probably addressed this in other videos. What brush do you use to paint glass? I attempted to make one of your sets and used a foam brush and it was a disaster even letting it dry overnight. I used folk art metallic acrylic.

Hi Nadine! Welcome tot he channel! I'm so sorry your project didn't turn out. The paint I use it made by Folk Art. But for the metallic paint finish I use their Treasure Gold brand. It cost a little more but the colors are beautiful and the paint adheres well. You also have to apply a thin coat, let the paint dry completely and then and apply a second, and sometimes a third coat. I also recommend buying a brush that's made for acrylic paint. The foam applicators don't work as well, I have found. I hope you try again. My first projects were not that good. It took practice.

Hi Nancy! I'm so glad you like my work. When I first started, I would have lots of brush streaks too. And if I'm not careful, it still happens. First I would say make sure that you use alcohol to clean your glass or ceramic pieces before you paint them. And secondly I would use a brush that is made for acrylic paint. Also make sure that you go light on the coats, and let them dry fully in between. And lastly try to keep your brush stokes as even and going in the same direction as much as possible. And it could it also be the paint. I use Treasure or Multi-Surface paints by Folk Art. And they seem to give me the best results finish wise. I hope this is helpful.
