    Cant wait for a hog2 royal blood cover man!!It will truly help me pick what to get.Would you suggest getting a hog2 for a royal blood kind of sound + the octaved 5th where it's needed, or a pog2 fed to a pitchfork(tracking/noise/latency/overall tone wise)??

    So do I need to run the PS-6 before of after my dirt pedals? I'm guessing the PS-6 is in front of the dirt pedals only going by it appears your using the built-in dirt tone on your guitar amp on this video? Thanks again for any feedback, I know your busy.

  • @adamflanaganmusic

    No worries, glad the video helped. The POG2 is just the +1 Octave all the way up, all other octaves/dry signal all the way down, attack & detune all the way down, and the HP filter up to taste (not maxed out)

    Hi Adam. i got an overdrive-distorion link to a harmonist ps6 this go to the guitar amp, and then the tuner to the bass amp. But sometimes happens that the harmonist mute the bass, and the tuner is off (the bass suposed to sound), why is this happening? can you help me? thank you very much bro!

    Thanks for these vids, they give me some great ideas for my setup. I was hoping you could answer a question though... I've got a similar setup, I go from a TC Sub n Up into a PS6 then a homemade overdrive pedal (the overdrive sounds great on its own). My 'guitar' loop sounds a bit organy for some reason rather than like a guitar. Any pointers on where to go? I'm wondering if my post harmonizer fx need tweaking.

    old comment but my chain is this bass - tuner - basspreamp/eq - micropog - big muff - boss ns2 - guitar amp in my experience fuzz is better than OD at masking the 'digital' organ like sound you get from a octaver

    He addressed the modes question when he played You Really Got Me in G mixolydian, so he set the key on the pedal to C major. The pitch shift setting is meant to deal with chromatic harmony, although this feature didn't get a good wrap in the review.

    Is possible switch the POG pedal for a Whammy in this case?

  • @adamflanaganmusic

    @adamflanaganmusic

    2 жыл бұрын

    You could, but the POG is a winner for having such a clear result in terms of generating that octave note. So there’s no/incredibly low wobble, so once distortions are added, it just sounds like a guitar note. This is going off experience with a whammy 4, so could be different with a 5, or any of the off-shoot pedals Digitech have created.
