He used the Line6 Helix and Kemper Multi Effects/Amp simulators at least thats what it says im the video description

extremely late on the reply here, but you would be correct! No physical pedals. At the time, I was using a kemper for the guitar amp, and helix for the bass amp and effects pedals. Everything would be routed appropriately into Logic Pro where additional tweaks might be made, but a good chunk of the work is taken care of by the helix. Nowadays I am only using the Helix. My bass dry bass signal gets routed straight into logic to run through the Tonex plugin for bass amp sims, but everything else is taken care of via the Helix.
