Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore stole the show once again on day three at Royal Ascot, teaming up to land the Ascot Gold Cup with 2022 winner Kyprios.
The pair also netted the Ribblesdale Stakes, as Port Fairy did enough to see off the brave Lava Stream. This race also saw Ryan Moore surpass Frankie Dettori's 81 Royal Ascot winners, with only Lester Piggott now boasting more than Moore.
Also on the day, James Doyle bagged two winners with Shareholder in the Norfolk Stakes (G2) and the closing Buckingham Palace Stakes, whilst Sean Levey and Brian Meehan had yet another winner in the shape of Jayarebe.

I was there yesterday back teo winners Port Fairy at 12/1 & English Oak at 4/1, what ana amazing day Royal Ascot is magic.
I'm very happy to see ed walker with a winner I really like him as a trainer! English oak looked very very good.
Wathnan racing seem to be building quite the team lately

The more I see it, the more it looks odd. Buick must have been told not to win on King's Gambit. It does nothing for the credibility of the sport and no, I didn't bet it.
That was a weak Gold Cup today. Trawlerman and Vauban are group 2 horses. I said a month ago when I seen Gregory was second favourite that Kyprios would win even if he's not the horse he was pre injury. I couldn't understand why it drifted from 10/11 to 5/4 for no reason. Obviously, the vermin bookies were up to their usual tricks. Whistlejacket didn't drift because they wanted to make him look bomb proof and hes a waste of space. As the old saying goes. Pick your own. Don't be influenced by crooked bookies

@@xaar81 He's a waste of space because he's after going off at very short odds and didn't deliver the goods. If he was 12/1 and ran reasonably well then we could look at how promising the effort was. Unfortunately when you go off at odds on and lose by a decent amount nobody is going to be impressed. A work in progress shouldn't be going off at odds on and robbing the punters who trust O'Brien. If it needs further then surely O'Brien with his vast knowledge should be able to pick a more suitable race for his prospect.
