The wonderful final celebration of all the magnificent, award-winning stud beef cattle and stud sheep, their breeders and their handlers at this year’s Royal Agricultural Exhibition in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, was tinged with some sadness. It is, without a doubt now, the last such livestock competition to be held at this historic and memory-filled premises.
