Coach Roy Williams has announced that he is retiring from coaching after 33 seasons as a head coach, the last 18 at North Carolina. In those 18 years, Williams has led UNC to three National Championships, three ACC Tournament Championships, nine ACC regular season championships, and reached several big coaching milestones.     In my opinion, he is the most greatest basketball coach in College basketball history. I am a huge UNC fan and I love that man. Congrats to Roy Williams

    @@thedude1573 I agree. Wooden was just on a different level at a time when Freshman couldn't play on the varsity squads. Let's not forget that. But Roy is up there in a era where the top recruits have been going to Duke or Kentucky or Kansas yet he kept his teams in there by sheer grit and toughness along with his coaching.

    Best job he did as a coach was to somehow get unc clear from their academic scandals/cover up athat he knew about a few years back. They had players, tutors and faculty as proof. What job.
