Met Roy about 1974 when he appeared at the Orange County Fairgrounds, chatted about half hour before Dale started getting on his case to get on the stage, no not the first one out of town. Had Roy sign a pic of me when I was about 5 in a Roy Roger's outfit. Cherish that pic to this day (2019), even at 75 yo.

It's so hard to find people like this in hollywood for kids (and adults) to look up to. God bless Rogers and Evans.

I've looked for years for a 6 shooter that would shoot as many times as his did without reloading. That's a joke. I miss Roy Rogers, Gene Autrey, John Wayne and several of those cowboy stars. You always knew the good guys would win and the bad guys would loose. This world needs this today.

I was born about the time this was made but I forwarded it to my older cousins and they sure got a huge kick out of it and recall seeing it at the movies. Thanks.

Amen. Today, Roy and Dale would be "cancelled" by the Hollywood community culture. It's beyond time we go back to sanity, virtue, family and above all honoring God.
