You could put strings on a dog, and not only could Roy play it, it would sound better than most anyone else playing a regular stringed instrument. How great that he let the other guys have their time in the spot light. But, that was Roy.

Grew up with Bluegrass all my life! My Mom played guitar, Uncle and Aunt played Banjo! Down in Ky., back then everyone carried their instruments in their car! My Grandparents porch and yard had Banjos, fiddles guitars playing bluegrass almost every weekend! I had so much fun growing up! Miss those days!

Roy Clark was absolutely an amazing musician. Could turn a couple of sticks into a five piece band.
