This is my go- to sad song to date.

What a beautiful and touching tribute! When I was recovering from my 10th open heart surgery, I remember hearing 'It must have been love' by roxette playing from the nursing station in the ICU at the Mayo Clinic, the song brought me joy and remains in my memory from that time in 2006. You did a wonderful job, thanks for posting this. May the soul of Marie rest in peace and I hope her family finds comfort during this Christmas season. She touched many souls.

Me too, Paul. I'm grateful for the lyrics of both those amazing songs. As a 10/11 year old, "Listen to your heart" gave me an insight into the feelings that love brings. Forever grateful for those "goosebump" moments. I'm glad I was young enough to hear and appreciate the music and Marie's phenomenal voice. This tribute is raw, imperfectly perfect, emotional and beautiful. 😘

I just hummed this song yesterday and what a sad thing the bad news came to me this morning. I started listening to Marie and Roxette since Pretty Woman. Marie's voice was so unique..... This is an amazing tribute to Marie. I was deeply saddened by her death. I was away when I'd seen it on the news that she had passed on.

She's eternal now because she will live in thousands of hearts. The song I love most is "never is a long time", for me her best vocal performance. Also love "watercolours in the rain".

Amazing song! Roxette together with ABBA is the prove of amazing singers and songwriters from Sweden! Per Gessle composed for Christmas time. And Marie voice just incredible! I broke down in tears several times yesterday over news of her death. Saw her perform 3 times in concert beginning with seeing her as a 13 yr old for her 1991 Joyride tour. Your rendition touched a lot of people.
