This is a dream camper. Much better than motor home manufacturers come up with. I want to extend my sincere condolences on the loss of your wife and your son’s mother. There are many kinds of heroes on this earth and you, Dad, are one of them. That you and your late wife helped make your son’s dream come true in this fashion shows your love for him as well as your passion for details and forward thinking. Kudos to all of you.

😮😢 Oh dear... I am just now learning of the passing of your mother and father's wife. I am truly taken aback as I was just going to comment that it looks like you guys live in Heaven as I hear your mom call out to Peter (your doggie) and see the gorgeous scenery as you headed out on your trip. 😢

Wow great job!! I've literally watched hundreds of videos on different RVs, Vans, Skoolies/buses, etc. and truly, this build is masterfully done! I love the open layout and such a clever use of space! No weird set up/take down showers, or having to use the toilet in the living room. Its so much roomier than typical vans that get turned into tiny homes! With that awesome lowering 'deck' on back, great finds with the old camper stuff, the door, stairs, stove, etc. I'd love to have a van like this! Only problem I noticed is that my home state is still blank on that map on the back doors, Alaska ;)

I’m very sorry to hear about your wife, I think you’ve done a wonderful job building the truck out with your son. I know he will enjoy being on the road. The solar panels on the top were awesome. How amazing to be living out your dreams in the present!😊 It sounds like you have an amazing supportive family doing everything they can to make your dreams come true with plenty of time to enjoy it! I’m so very sorry for your diagnosis… I’m a critical care specialist so I can understand everything you’re facing about as much as the people who treat you…but only you can understand what facing that diagnosis means… and you’re someone who hasn’t let it limit you one bit. It’s so nice to see and I’m so happy you’re able to to do that. I’ve been in medicine about 20 years, and it’s rare that you see a family pull together like this to ensure that you get to live out your dreams regardless! You are VERY BLESSED!

You are correct, CO and CO2 are killers. The water heater is used with adequate ventilation. To us, it is no more different to use it and be safe, than grabbing a hot pan. There is a CO monitor and it is USED correctly.

Engineering is amazing. Very inspiring build. My main question is how did you reinforced the roof? In UK thise boxes come with super thin fibreglass with minimum support, was this the case with your one? All best in your adventures

The urine bottle is captured so it cannot tip over. Any smells are grabbed by the muffin fan and evacuated outside. A level sensor would be the only change we would make. Thanks for your comment.

Love Love Love this build! Just happened to come across your video while searching for box truck conversions. You don't see many of them on YT. I am in the research stage of planning a box truck build myself. I am curious to know what the dimensions of the box of Roxanne is. Is it a 16 ft? Would you be open to consultation on a build/conversion for a fee of course?
