ROVER P4 . Out the garage for new hub cap badges in the snow .

I get Jessie out the garage after a flat battery then take her hubcaps off, replacing the centre badges with repro versions supplied by the Rover P4 Driver's Guild, then fitting back on the car.

A set of chrome rings would set those wheels off beautifully. The P4 can look a bit taxi-like in black.

Looks great with the new badges, tidy chrome as well. 33 x years ago my grandad told me 70 lb ft for wheels, just a shade tighter than your setting, very sensible rechecking torque, especially with the new wheel paint, always way too tight after a garage visit,

I try to avoid garage visits . Especially after they did my wheel nuts up so tight it ruined the holes in the wheels ! I took the wheels off my self these few times and took them to the paint and tyre place in the back of my Landy, then came home and fitted them to the car myself. X

@@Alexsassets best way. I serviced my wife’s Honda Jazz because garage shut with lockdown last year, Oil filter so tight, took over half an hour to remove, Thankyou local garage, ended by sticking screwdriver through & I have 5 different filter wrenches. I will service it with my cars from now on. I have serviced many cars over the years and the only filter I have had to screwdriver, was a friends neglected Peugeot 205 not serviced for 5 years.
