    Glad you showed it with the bb and cranks on - I am a little afraid to take my BB off, might have bunged the install 😅

    @@BBInfinite exactly my thought, I may have bunged my threads on the BB but it is on and works. I don’t want to deal with that until I need to. So I’m “leaving it alone” 😂

    A lot of times the housing or hose will get scratched up pretty bad from the sharp burrs and edges inside the frame. It’s unavoidable even if you lube the crap out of the housing/hose. Internal routed frames need to have conduit sleeves so the housing or hose goes in and out smoothly.

    Does this work if I leave the barn in the barb in the house? Or will I need a new barb?

  • @BBInfinite

    @BBInfinite

    7 ай бұрын

    This works with the barb in place. No line cutting needed. It works with old lines too, since often they need to be pulled to replace rear suspension bits on full suspension mtb's, etc...

    You'd be surprised. Funny that a lot of time it's the more expensive, custom frames that are the messiest inside.

    How, when the "tools" used here cost under $8 total.

  • @NonLegitNation2

    his method cost alot less, but even if you do want to go with an actual kit why spend $75.00 on a Park Tool kit. I bought a generic kit for 17 bucks and it has all of the exact same fittings as the park tool kit. But instead of having a routing cable for each fitting mine has one routing cable and the fitting screws onto it. So less parts to worry about.

    kzread.infoEWt1trKlbLM kzread.info/dash/bejne/pJ2Dl7qSlLWYc5c.html We place cardiac stents like this. So what I would do is when you dismount calliper and leaver, put a wire in the old tubing (while still on the bike); than remove the tubing, keeping the wire inside the frame; than place new tubing back over the wire that is already inside. remove the wire.

    Now do it with a banjo end.

  • @BBInfinite

    @BBInfinite

    Жыл бұрын

    It works with a banjo. Obviously there's no way to fish a banjo end though a frame, but the same technique works with a banjo fitting. The cable will feed into the banjo inlet, and when the cable's die end meets the banjo it will often fit inside it if you tweak the die end 90 degrees. Done it many times for Hope and other brakes that use banjos.
