I just watched this and loved it. It makes me want to go out West even more than I did. I want to go to Yosemite and see the trees. Enjoyed this.

I wouldn't want to drive that road at night. Wow, that was a very scenic road. Very interesting memorial site.

Yeah, nighttime would be a bad time to drive this. Many places, it was a steep drop off with no guard rails.

The old Oatman Road is so cool. They don't get five inches of rain per year but when you get it all at once and the ground doesn't absorb the water it does flood. When in doubt ask questions. Sad thing about Cool Springs is one of the previous owners was a good friend of the Rolling Stones and at one time had a collection of all of their albums, signed by the band. Something happened and they all disappeared.

I could not get over how gorgeous The scenery was. That was some drive, This is now on my bucket list.I bet you had your foot on the brake a good portion of the time! You had me laughing at the beginning of the video while getting lost. It would be something I would do . LOL and I liked how you had a quiet pause in the video explaining the markers.

Unintended detours are usually FUN! In my Jeep, I would have continued on that dirt road fat, dumb and happy! I'll be doing the entire length of Route 66 in my Camaro in the next couple of years when I finally retire. That "twisty" stretch will be a LOT of fun. Looks like I will have to mount 4 GoPro cameras on the car to get 360 degree coverage!

You will love your tour of Route 66, and I dare say, this will be one of the most scenic portions of it.

Love how you signed the guestbook as KZread Vloggers! Awesome! We are debating to do this at weddings and funerals. lol We have never heard of pickle juice soda. Is it refreshing? Lots of beautiful scenery and winding roads. Enjoying the videos.

The pickle flavored soda, literally tastes like that. I had tried it once before, there at that Emery's 5&10, at The Island in Pigeon Forge. If you've seen a lot of those nostalgic stores, they have some weird flavored sodas. The Moon Pie General Store in Pigeon Forge, also has some weird flavors. Last time we were there, they had one called Dirt Soda, and Grass Soda. My goal is to try both of those. Of all the ones I've tried, I kind of like that pickle one. But it does taste just like the name would suggest. Yeah, Shawnasi signed the guest book that way. I guess it is a good idea to do that, to get people to check out your channel. We'd like to get some stickers made. I was actually just watching that video again, a few minutes ago. And it looks like the closest signature in that guest book to where we are, was one from Georgia. But pretty much everyone else was from out West, or up North.

@@NCMemoryMakers I agree. We are watching the Seligman to Kingman video now and see the store where there were a bunch of stickers. We will have to get some before our trip.

@steveg309 We weren't really looking for any, but I can't say that I remember seeing any. But if it's a van type, I think you could do it. You'd just need to be very careful.
