Japan's first Hip Hop and Japan's first Be Bop.
Started working as a break dancer in 1983 at the age of 16. In the late 80s, after being an early member of TRF, he formed Sound Cream Steppers in 1993. They have performed in a wide range of venues, from the streets to the Tokyo Dome, and have been a judge, MC and guest performer at world-class dance competitions and events. Their high level of entertainment is unrivalled. He is also actively involved in cultural activities to promote the history and other aspects of street dance. He is a big brother to dance dudes all over the country.

Chairman of ADHIP First generation of Japanese B-Boys who started breaking in 1983. After working as Japan's top B-Boy and leader of the legendary Osaka team ANGEL DUST BREAKERS, of which Takashi Okamura (Ninety-Nine) was a member, he founded the street dance promotion company ADHIP in 1992.
He organised many events, including the world's largest and highest-level street dance contest 'JAPAN DANCE DELIGHT'.
Launched the free street dance paper 'Dance Delight Magazine'. In 2000, organised the world's largest breakdance event 'BATTLE OF THE YEAR' in Japan for the first time in Asia.
He has strong connections with countries around the world and his influence is immeasurable.
In August 2017, he was awarded the first Takajin Award in the Legend category for his achievements in making Osaka a world-class street dance city.

    ホリエさんのDADA、ダンスダンスダンスはリアルタイムで見てました。メガ抜けた経緯は知らなかったです。スクールもネットもない時代に少ない情報だけで全国区になってるのは凄い! 華がありますよね、ホリエさん。

    なんだかもう話が深すぎて、知らないことばかりでした。当時のダンス番組は全くしらなかったのですが、そういう流れだったのか!!と思いました。まさに日本ダンス界の礎ですね。
